***Welcome to the official Council of Iron clan recruitment thread!***


Council of Iron is a RS3 clan exclusively for both regular and hardcore ironmen. Training an ironman character can be a long and lonely road; joining a group of people with similar interests makes the journey a lot more comfortable.

Our clan chat is both a fun social place to linger in and a very useful tool for gaining information and experience from other players. We have several highly knowledgeable Runescape veterans in our clan, they and the rest of the clan are more than happy to share their insight on the game.

We are from all over the world! While most of us are from UK and Europe, we have members from Asia and US.

Rules and requirements


As ironmen are solo players our main challenge is to bring them together and to foster a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. To do that and to guarantee that our members are enjoying their time in the clan we have zero-tolerance for bullying, trolling, trollbaiting, spamming, flaming, excessive swearing, hate speech, e-drama, caps lock and general annoyance. All Jagex rules apply.

We require you to have
750 total level
before you can join. If your account is brand new you can spend time in the clan chat as a guest and train your account till you can join us officially.

F2p players can join us, but if you're not even planning on getting membership at some point, you're certainly better off joining one of the f2p only ironman clans.

If you're going to be inactive, as in quit rs for a certain period of time, please let us know. This is because after two months of inactivity you will be removed from the clan, unless you have told us about your break and we know you're coming back to rs at some point.

Events and stuff


We have events such as bank skilling, boss hunting, minigames and d&d's, but attending to them is not mandatory. Despite of the name Council of Iron is a laid back and casual community, we can easily make your idea for a happening come true.

We don't have a citadel so you're not asked to cap.

The clan uses Discord for text and voice chatting, all clanmates are invited.

Ranking system


To get promoted you need to gain experience while in the clan.

Recruit - Welcome!
Corporal - 10m xp
Sergeant - 25m xp
Lieutenant - 50m xp
Captain - 100m xp
General -250m xp

Involvement in clan chat, events and recruiting is the basis for attaining an admin rank.
