Hello and welcome to the Iridescence Clan thread! Thank you for your interest in our clan!

Do you enjoy socialising with others and meeting new people? Do you enjoy pvming and just having a bit of fun? Do you want to feel like you belong and are part of a community? Do you want to start living instead of just existing?

At Iridescence, we aim to create a friendly and warm environment where everyone is treated equally, regardless of rank. If you need more information, have any questions or just want to join, feel free to join the Clan Chat

- Our clan song is witch doctor and we try to get people to sing it all the time, but alas I am the only one that has actually sung it!

*An exception can be made if you're slightly under the requirement.

-RULES-



1. All Jagex Rules apply.

If you are found breaking one of these rules you can be at risk of derank/kick/ban. Botting is an automatic kick from the clan.
No luring or scamming clannies or other RS players.


2. Respect

Respect others, self explanatory. Respect is central regardless of rank. If
any problems occur, let a member of the staff know so he/she can take action. Racism and discussion of politics is NOT tolerated.
We're all human.


3. No Begging.

We're not fond of beggars. Don't beg for money, promotions or items. If you need money, we have skilled members able to lead you to the best possible cash methods. Begging for promotions will only lead to prolonging your promotion.


4. Language

Our main language is english. We accept MINOR swearing but please keep it to a minimum. Don't overuse your colourful vocabulary. Also, don't use offensive language directed at
another clan member. If asked to stop, please do so. Respect comes into play here.


5. Capping

Weekly Capping is recommended, but not mandatory. Contributing towards the clan shows that you are a team player. Our citadel plots are permanently unlocked.

6. Have fun

Being in a clan shouldn't feel like a chore, so have fun and enjoy yourself!

Iridescence is not like your average clans on Runescape. We strive to create the best environment we can! We're a fun community that cares about each other and other players. We treat each other like family. We prefer quality over quantity. I believe that's what separates us from others, we're fabulous and sometimes a little weird! We see this as a game, as should you. We have some of the most respectable members so far and we're growing more members in that same area. Everyone is treated equally. We don't treat others based on wealth or knowledge/experience. We try to keep a balance that has a mixture of everything from Pvm'ers to skillers.

At the moment, we currently do mid level bossing, Gwd 2 and upwards, a lot of nex and very little group bossing, although we have started learning RotS and rago and are starting to get the hang of it.

~~~~~ Please note that nothing in Iridescence is mandatory and the majority of events and boss trips are spontanious~~~~~

Our home world is 71, although you do not have to play on it, it will be where events will be held.


You can learn a lot from a box of crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names and all have different colours, but they all live together in the same box

-PROMOTIONS-


Promotions will be handed out to those who qualify on a monthly basis. This applies to lieutenant+ ranks only. As you rank up, it will take more for you to achieve the next rank!

We do inactivity sweeps after 6 months of inactivity.

Possible areas we look at to decide promotions are:


- Capping
- Attendance for events
- Hosting events (anyone can host an event at anytime)
- Activity
- Willingness to help others
- Bumping the clan thread
- Recruiting new clan mates that are mature, respect and consider others
- Overall attitude



Being active on the clan's forum is also a way to count in towards your activity in the clan. We encourage all our members to check out the clan's forums at least a few times a week. Helping others achieve their goals or even helping them with a simple vial can go a long way in this game. Please don't ask for a promotion or else that will just prolong the time you're able to get one!

Recruit
– New members who have just joined the clan and are on probation. If there is little too no activity in the first week, recruits could be kicked.
Corporal
– Full members of the clan.
Sergeant
– Members who have capped at the citadel once.
Lieutenant
- Members who have gained 30m+ xp whilst in the clan.
Captain
– Members who have gained 100m+ xp whilst in the clan.
General
– Members who are emerging as possible leaders within the clan.
Admin+
- Members who go beyond what is expected of them, show a willingness to help others, have a great attitude and are active.

What do I need to do to keep/advance my rank?


- Recruits through to Sergeants are expected to be active. They are emerging as loyal members of the clan. Corporal+ ranks are able to invite members into the clan but please make sure that they meet our requirements.

- Lieutenant through to generals have been in the clan for some time and show loyalty and respect for clan members. These are also the ranks we look at for possible promotions.

-Administrator and organiser ranks are expected to moderate the clan chat and give out warnings for disruptive members. They also show loyalty and are active.

-Coordinators+ ranks have the same responsibilities as the administrators and organisers, however, they are able to kick members and are the epitome of the clan. They should be approached if you have problems regarding fellow clan members.

MAD MONTHLY SKILLERS


As a clan, it's important to get together and have some fun! Please note that none of our events are mandatory.

Each month, there will be a competition on who gains the most amount of xp in a chosen skill for that month. Prizes will be as follows:

1st place: 5M gp
2nd place: 2.5M gp

**This event will start on the 30th of each month and end on the 30 of the following month. **

Congrats to Gainzmyster for winning March's magic competition and to ZeEngy for coming second!

Congrats to Kemar for winning March's cooking competition and to me for coming second!

In April we will be having 2 competitions again, overall xp gains and fletching, enjoy and good luck!

We also have our own clan google doc's that can track any skill at anytime.
