Phoenix Tale
, we have three laws, and three laws only:

1) Follow all Jagex rules.

2) Respect all of your fellow clanmates.

3) Real life comes before Runescape.

We take these three laws seriously and think that the combination of the three leads to the best community we can offer.

Clan Leaders

The caretakers and guardians of Phoenix Tale. They make sure the clan continues to grow and prosper and assist all players with general game-play.

Clan Owner
The face and representative of the clan. The clan owner serves as a mentor for all admins, as well as clanmates in general. I have no specific job within the clan, but instead assist with recruiting, hosting events and meetings, assign promotions, help keep track of citadel, and boost morale. I also represent out clan on the clan leader forums and advocate changes for the betterment of clans in general.

How to obtain position: Deputy Owner replaces Owner following retirement

Deputy Owner
The second-in-command of the clan. The deputy owner serves a similar role to the owner and has the same goals and responsibilities. He/she is expected to utilize their experience within the clan to help facilitate a friendly and active atmosphere. The individual is also able to participate in the clan leader forums and advocate for clan changes.

How to obtain position: Overseer replaces Deputy Owner following retirement

Overseer
The third-in-command of the clan. The overseer is expected to be chief of the admins and handle day to day operations. While this individual is also expected to boost morale and serve as a friendly face to the clan, the job focuses more on managing admins and making sure they are conducting their responsibilities.

Privileges: Admin+, make new admins with consent of clan leaders and clan council, can set citadel upgrades, can ban and demote clanmates.

Responsibilities: Admin+, manage and supervise admins, assist leaders with general management.

How to obtain position: Be chosen from among the clan council by current clan leaders.

Clan Council

The Clan Council includes those clanmates who are admin+ rank. They conduct most of the day to day operations such as chat supervision and clan assistance. They meet with Clan Leaders on a monthly basis to discuss the health of the clan. The goal is to keep enough clanmates in the Council so there is usually at least one admin+ rank member in the chat at all times.


Admins
Clanmates who are active and friendly, and have earned a high position of trust and power within the clan. It is their job to server as managers and mentors within the clan, as well as to assist with the overall activity and grown of Phoenix Tale. They are chosen by Clan Leaders, with the advice of the Clan Council.

Privileges: Can summon avatar, temporarily kick clanmates, set citadel goals, check citadel contribution, adjust clan notice board, promote clanmates

Responsibilities: Mentor clanmates, moderate chat, recruit 1 member a week, host 1 event a week, collect clan fealty stars at citadel

How to obtain position: Chosen by majority of council with approval from at least one leader

General Clanmates
The family of Phoenix Tale. Clanmates are expected to follow the three laws, as well as participate and help make the clan a great environment.

Star Ranks
Experienced clanmates, promoted by the Clan Council or Clan Leaders. They are typically more veteran clanmates, who know the clan well and are active participators at the citadel and/or events, and help bring in new clanmates. They also serve as the selection pool for future admins.

Privileges: Can hold events, broadcast event notices to clan chat, and are not usually kicked for inactivity

Responsibilities: Attend clan events, help at clan citadel, assist with events and recruiting

How to obtain position: Meet criteria for responsibilities as well as have been in clan for an extended period of time. Promoted by Clan Leaders or Council, there must be a space of at least two weeks in between promotions

Stripe Ranks
New up-and-coming clanmates who are becoming more situated with Phoenix Tale. They are welcome stay as long as they like, so long as they follow the three laws. Most clanmates will consist of one of these ranks.

Privileges: Can recruit clanmates, access citadel, and participate in clan events

Responsibilities: Follow clan laws

How to obtain position: Participate in clan chat and activities. Promoted by Clan Leaders or Council, there must be a space of at least two weeks in between promotions.
