Hello! Welcome to the official forum thread for Troubled Company. :D

We are a brand new social skilling clan, with bossing, Dungeoneering, and other events weekly. We welcome all players, both F2P and P2P. We are accommodating of all time zones. Our primary language is English. We are actively recruiting new members, and currently have upper rank positions available for those who are have skills in organization and teamwork.

The clan was formed by friends with the intention of revitalizing the RuneScape community in our own way, and to bring together some of the game's most involved and passionate players.

Rules Part 1 of 2

1. All standard Jagex rules apply.
2. Be respectful to all members at all times. No exceptions. Be respectful to all members at all times. No exceptions. Political or religious discussion is discouraged, as these situations online often can lead to disrespect of others' beliefs and opinions. Clan Leadership* reserves the right to put an end to these conversations at any time.
3. Capping, while not required, is recommended and most appreciated, especially as we work to build the Citadel to higher tiers.
4. The following administrative actions require motions made by Deputy Owner or Owner with at least five (5) votes to be carried out:
- Promotions and Demotions
- Kicking members from Clan Chat
- Bans and Mutes
- Modifying significant Clan Settings (Colors, Home World, etc)
- Modifying significant Clan Discord Settings
If there are not five (5) votes cast for a motion, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the Deputy Owner and Owner Ranks.
The following administrative actions do NOT require motions:
- Kicking guests from Clan Chat
- Assigning Clan Jobs to Members
- Upgrading Clan Citadel
5. No asking for promotions.
6. While we will not kick for inactivity if you know you're going to be inactive for a long while it is appreciated if you let one of the clan leaders know. Inactivity may lead to demotion(s).(edited)
7. Failure to follow clan rules will first result in a warning, then a motion to kick or mute for 24-hours depending on severity of situation, then potentially a motion to ban if activity continues. A ban applies to both the clan and the discord server.
8. Clan Leadership* reserves the right to call for a motion (to be voted upon by Overseer Rank and above) to suspend the rules at any time. (Rule 1 still applies even if rules are suspended.) Motion must be passed to reinstate rules.

9: If you leave the clan and decide you want to come back, a motion will be made to determine whether you keep your previous rank or receive demotion(s).
10: No religion and political talk in the chat, please. Please take these conversations outside of the chat to avoid unnecessary conflict.
11. Any changes (additions, deletions, amendments) can proposed by Admin+ ranks (requires a second from a key rank), changes can be made to the rules with a majority vote between discord, strawpoll, and clan chat. (24 hour voting time, 51% or higher votes for yea required to pass)

*Clan Leadership is defined as a member of the clan with the rank of Overseer or above.
