Welcome!

This thread is dedicated to the
World 103 Player Owned City Community
. Our goals are to bring back the thriving POC community of the late 2000s and to have fun while doing so! We will try to answer any questions about what it means to be a Player Owned City as well as keep track of our land claims on this thread. If a clan "claims" land in 103 but is not a part of this thread, they will not be acknowledged by any of the clans here; we are a separate and organised community.

World 103 was chosen due to many clans having a large amount of EST players. However, should an event be hosted that is primarily another timezones, a world will be chosen accordingly. This community prides itself on being open with our actions; because of this, all land claims, treaties, and any other documents will be posted on this thread.

What is a Player Owned City?

A Player Owned City is a clan that has a number of light roleplay aspects to it. These can include, but are not limited to: titles, land claims, a hierarchy based on government types, diplomacy, war over land, and more. POCS are NOT warring clans and sportsmanship is our top priority. Land hoarding clans just make the game boring for everyone.

How does my clan become a POC?

To be honest, it is quite easy! As long as your clan is willing to involve itself in diplomacy and has a hierarchy, it can be a POC!

I have heard of TTSC or Territorial-based Theme Specific Clan, are they the same thing as a POC?

Yes, TTSC are exactly the same as POCs.

How do I join this community?

Clans joining this community can join with five members, you just need to fill out an application below! The current clans will vote and with a 50% vote, you are in!

There are only a few requirements to joining this community and those are to have a hierarchy set up, to have five members in your clan, and to have an interest in light roleplay. You can then fill out the application below and get into the community!

What you will receive on joining:

In the World 103 Community, we use a unique method to keep track of land claims and such. We use a treasury system based on the amount of members in the clan and past claims so as to show the importance of major cities and trade hubs.

Founding and capitals
:
When your clan becomes a POC and joins the community, they receive 100,000gp for their treasury. This can be used to claim a first plot of land. You also are given a two week grace period where your clan cannot declare war or be declared on.

Subsequent claims
:
After the initial claims, your plots of land will gather revenue for your treasury. Revenue is counted at 00:00 every Sunday morning and can be spent on anything. It is completely fictitious money, however, it can be used to trade lands, pay off wars, claim land, or anything pertaining to POCs.

War
:
Land may be warred for using a declaration application. If there is no response on this thread from the defending party within a week from when the declaration was posted, the land is forfeit. Clans may not be warred for their capital unless they have less than 15 members or are deemed inactive by a vote from the other clan leaders. War may only be declared once a week. Wars cost 125% of the claim from the declaring side, plus one half of the total cost of the land in question. This money is forfeit even if the declaring clan loses.
