This thread is a discussion thread for our clan. For our recruitment thread click Here

Please be sure to bump the recruitment thread when you can, as it helps out quite a bit!

This thread does not need to be bumped as it is not used for recruitment. Instead, its main purpose is for posting and scheduling events, as well as posting attendance afterwards. You may also post things you don't feel belong on the recruitment thread here. The goal of this is to easily keep track of our events, without having other posts interrupting them.

Clan Member Of The Month

To simply be part of something amazing can be a reward in and of itself, but to go above and beyond, to help others selflessly, and to benefit our community with your presence deserves something special. A reward of equal magnitude can be hard to come by, but we hope this humble title will serve as a sign of our gratitude, however mild of a reward it may be. Please also enjoy a small bonus from the clan bank, for your efforts in helping us!

Events and Schedule

If you would like to schedule an event, in the hopes to get many more people to come please fill out the short form below! You can use this to request events as well! Please try to post at least 48 hours in advance so we have time to add it to calendar.

Leadership Roles

As council, you must choose at least 1 event role, and high council takes 1 support role.

º l|l º Events * l|l º

- Organize and host about 1 or 2 weekly events in this category.

1)

Minigame/D&D

- Thaler, Exp, And fun!

2)

Bossing

- PvM events to get the clan some loot!

3)

Skilling

- Train skills together, inside or outside the citadel, with avatar!

4)

Social

- Fun events to distract and relax. (Parades are an example)

5)

Misc

- Host 3 events per week or more, 1 from each category.

- Help me run the clan.

1)

Event Manager

- Organize scheduled events, post them on discord, and on Clan Calendar. Email Required for Google Calendar.

2)

Point Manager

- Tally up points that people get for for events, and tally up small events separately. This will greatly help me save time. This is a once a week job, but incredibly important that accuracy and care is taken into the process. You must be available Friday from Mid-day to Night. Point list must be posted before build tick.

3)

Mentor leader

- Keep track of all clan mentors, making sure they are doing it correctly. At the end of the week, post a list of points for each mentor, in accordance to how many people they have mentored, and how well they helped them.

4)

Recruitment leader

- Help the clan grow by spending a few hours a week recruiting in-game. Post our recruitment invitation on the Looking For Clan threads, and pm those people about the clan. Check the High Risk list, and notify these people so they become active when you see them online, or to apply/change whatever reason they are on the risk list.

5)

Support Backup

- Help all of the above roles, and take on part of the responsibility. You serve as their replacement in the case that

High Rank Responsibilities

Upon becoming a Lieutenant, you are considered a high ranking and active member! The road to Lieutenant is not a very long, or difficult one, but it is still something that you worked for, and because of that, you were awarded the title of a high rank!

º l|l º Helping the clan º l|l º

There are also certain responsibilities that come with being a high rank. With this title, the clan leader, and the rest of the clan depend on you to help the clan, keep it in order, keep it active, and most importantly: Help it grow.

To keep this short and sweet, we as a clan, and I as the leader need your help. We do not ask you to recruit all day, or even every day, we do ask that you recruit a few times a week, or simply more then you have been in the past.
It is imperative to the success of a clan, and specifically the way our member system works, that we constantly keep growing.
On that note I wish you the best of luck recruiting, as I know from personal experience it is neither fun, nor is it always successful!

As well as recruiting, consider hosting events from time to time. Help others rank up and have fun in the process!
There are many things to do in the clan to help out.

Once you are a high rank, consider the leadership positions we offer. Starting at the General rank, you can be a real help to us! Take the time while you are ranking up to General to think about joining our Council!

Clan Mentor System

I want all of our new recruits to feel welcomed, and either before or after they read through our forums, I'd like one of our mentors to help them feel like they are truly one of us. Teach them the ropes, and help them get started on their way to ranking up!

The key points in mentoring a new recruit are as follow:

1) Welcome the new recruit, then get them to read pages 1-2 of this forum, and apply.

(Ask them if they want a mentor, offer your help and tell them why its useful)
(They may refuse the help)

2) Take them to the clan camp to get a clan cloak, clan vex, and a Tyras Helm from Port Sarim!

3) Make sure they know how to get to the private clan forums, and clan home thread.

4) Make sure they know how to get from there to roster, risk list, discord, and calendar.

5) Remind them that all offsites are optional, however having access to them helps a lot.

6) Give them a short tour of the citadel, and verify that they know how ALL capping works.

7) Ask the recruit if they need help with anything clan related, or if they have any questions.

8) Contact the mentor/recruitment leader so they know you have finished mentoring.

Mentor Benefits:

Recruiting is only half the journey. If you recruit someone, mentor them as well if you can, if not, please direct them to forums or to another mentor

Clan Mentor System

To apply to become a mentor, just fill out this short application. Its just a formality so I know who I should expect to participate, as well as who to reward later on

Please make sure you read the mentor info on the recruitment thread beforehand.

Please contact any and all new members to the clan you see, convince them to accept your help, teach them the ropes, follow the mentoring instructions, and once done, please tell the mentoring leader so you get credit.
If they don't wish to be mentored, don't force it, assume they have experience in clans, and expect them to know how things work.

Clan Council

The clan council is a group of people from the clan that have accepted the responsibility of running the clan, in every aspect.

The High council consists of council members who have proven to help the clan, and are willing to sacrifice their own time and energy for others.

To become part of the council and the staff

Clan Bank

Things like the weekly raffle, and drop parties require money, and in this clan that comes from the clan bank. While I would love to increase the pot for the raffle, or the drops at parties, without enough funds, that's not possible.

The simplest way to donate is to make a personal donation. Simply let me know that you wish to donate, I will come meet you, and you can make your donation. You may donate as little or as much as you like, as often or as rarely as you like. You will get a point, or 2, for donating, but only once. Just a small token of appreciation for your help! Always remember that we will never force or beg you to donate, it is completely your choice!

The only wealth you keep forever is the wealth you give away.
