You may think HC is a lonely, tough road to take. No trading or minigames means you don't need friends, right? Wrong. You need friends. We'll be your friends.

With over 100 dedicated, active hardcore players in our ranks, the chat is friendly, helpful, mature, and hilarious. Throw in the fact that anyone can die at any time, and things can sometimes get intense. This is one of the most interesting and skilled communities I've ever had the pleasure of being in, and you can be part of it.

We do events, host funerals, compete for hiscores, have a citadel, quest together... we do a lot of cool things.

How to Join
---

First, have a red skull. HC only. :) Then just hop in our chat as a guest and ask for an invite! Alternately, you can message an admin directly and ask. I always have my PM open.

Monthly Meetup :
- On the second Saturday of every month, we have a meetup at the Party Room in Falador to play in the balloons (but not pop them) and celebrate the fact that we're still alive. On this meetup we list out whose died that month, congratulate members on particular achievements, and then go off and do whatever we feel like that day together. Could be a skilling gathering or a particular quest or minigame. We just bond for a bit.

Owner
: Iron Banner
- The owner takes care of ranking up admins, checking for inactive members, and upkeeping our threads and lists and stuff.

Deputys
: Master Eddy, Solo Rob
- Deputy has the same responsibilities as owner.

Overseer
: Softcore Jim
- Overseer helps with rank-ups and recruiting, but also tends to anything Citadel related, including encouraging members to contribute.

Admins
: Kawaiiron, Bayoneeta, Testing Out, Iron Stimp, Not Dead 2
- Admins can do Rank ups, Invite, and moderate the chat and members.

Recruit to General

Recruit:
- When you join you are a Recruit.

Corporal - Captain:
All these ranks have the same permissions. You do not get power by levelling.

Corporal: 900 or 6M EXP
Sergeant: 1,250 or 13.5M EXP
Lieutenant: 1,550 or 28M EXP
Captain: 1,800 or 40M EXP

General:
- A total level of 2000+, and Level 99 in Five different skills.
- OR Achieve 120 in a single skill. (104,273,167 xp)

The reason we don't have ranks based on contributions to citadel or participation in chat/events is because we view systems like that as inherently unfair. We took an approach that benefits the playstyle most players enjoy. Getting levels is something everyone does in Runescape, so it seems giving members some recognition is a pretty good system.


Admins are based on enthusiasm and willingness to help, as well as activity. If an admin+ dies or quits, then we add a new admin, and move one of the existing admins into the position that was left vacant. This way our clan is always running smooth

Death. It sucks. But, if you're in this clan, it's a whole event, and maybe the fun we have at your funeral can make up for it at least a little.

When you Die
---

When a member of our clan dies, we set a date for their funeral and post it here (in Events) and in our clan forum, with an outline of how we will be honoring you, so everyone can prepare. Your name, achievements, and cause of death go in our Graveyard section as well.

On the funeral day, we will have a ceremony, per your specification, to honor your character's life. You can request anything that's possible (and within reason) for a hardcore ironman account. NO BLOOD SACRIFICES . But slap fights with rubber chickens? Doable. Sitting in a circle, communing with your spirit? Can-do. Anything that you think sufficiently honors your life and death.

Then, we have a run to the graveyard of your choice and bury the bones of the monster of your choice (within reason). At that point, your spirit is with the gods, and there is nothing further we can do. We then remove your account from the clan and move on.

You can attend on your main if you wish, to watch the craziness you've set for us. We don't mind. You may also remain in the clan chat as a guest on your main.

If you convert to normal ironman, this is also considered a death and we will hold a funeral for you.
You can stay in the clan at this point but only as a recruit.

Attending funerals is purely voluntary. We'd hope you attend, though, as the death of a character means tons of time gone for one of our friends. So, the least we can do is have some fun with them. :)

- level 1064: Death currently under investigation.

- level 791: Was reading his trusty book on how to wreck bosses without dying. He also used the bathroom and wasn't paying attention. When he came back, a boss had decided it was okay to kill F4te, which is kind of messed up. F4te swears vengeance, and will never not pay attention again!

- level 882: Was in the middle of wrecking a steel dragon, when his cat jumped on him and made him accidentally attack two dragons at once. He was taken down, but only after killing one of those dragons.

[Oct-29-2014] -
H'ween Event!!!!

- On November 1st at 5pm EST we will have a H'ween get together in Draynor Manor, where we will honour our dead ironmen and women with a seance, then have a dance party inside!
- You're welcome to dress up as something. I got dibs on being a knight, which means none of you can be knights. Hopefully you can be more creative than me.
- I will be streaming the event, as might a few other clanmates, so be sure to watch one of them :D

- You should inform me if you have done something first, best, or are top 10 in a skill for hc ironman so I can put you in the Member's Achievements Section.
- Because of how our funerals now work, you need to remember to contact an admin after you die so we can work with you to set up your funeral.
