Welcome to The Grand Priory's recruitement thread.
Here you can read about all things concerning the clan.

We are a laidback, social PvM-based clan with members with a wide variety of levels.
We enjoy teaching a variety of bosses and use off-site voice chat a fair bit.
The majority of our members are all adults and are based all around the globe.

Requirements

- Members of all levels are welcome.
- Current Runescape subscription.
- Willing to visit the citadel once per week (not necessarily to cap. just headcount)


Rules
_

All Jagex rules apply . ›› Here are some we want to be extra clear about and extras;

- No excessive swearing.
- No scamming. please be careful when trusttrading.
- No spamming or begging.
- Try to leave controversial topics out of the cc.
- Cause no drama, and leave it to admins to solve it.


Strikes
_

We know that everyone can have a bad day. Mistakes can happen.
If you make one misstep you won't get kicked right away. Instead, you'll get a strike.

1 Strike:
You get a warning.

2 Strikes:
You get a warning and demotion.

3 Strikes:
You get kicked from the clan.

Corporal - 5m Clan xp
Sergeant - 10m Clan xp
Lieutenant - 20m Clan xp
Captain - 75m Clan xp
General - 150m Clan xp
Admin - 300m Clan xp

Organiser - Event host, Recruiter and council member
Coordinator - Event host, Recruiter and council member or off-site management
Overseer - Multiple of earlier mentioned tasks

This system is bound to change over time, keep that in mind.

Though capping is good exp and an awesome way to collect clan points to rank up, we will not force any clan members to cap.

Capping can be done in the Citadel, a portal to which you can find south of Falador or near the Priffidnas lodestone.

By capping you ensure that we can keep the clan avatar and perhaps get even multiple avatars by upgrading. The avatar can be used to get a worldly 3% boost in all exp gained. Or 6% boost when near the avatar.

Where did you find our clan?
Have you read the rules?
Are you willing to follow those rules?
Do you think you will cap in the citadel regularly?
Would you like to apply for a leadership role, if yes, which one?
Why would you be suited for that role?

If you want to talk with clan members through voice chat you can join Discord channel. Though Discord is mainly used now for messaging you can also use it for voice chat if you wish to do so.

Once you are in the clan, you can message the admins for the details.

Our Story
_

We're a tight knit clan at this point. The founding members and high ranked personnel all know each other through either previous clans or Discord. Many of us feel the same when I say that even without a clan, we would still often be talking to each other. Seeing as we all enjoy the game it was decided to create a clan and give that a shot.

Several of the ranks have had experience in running smaller and medium sized clan in key positions, which has provided experience and failures that currently fuel this clan.

If you're interesting in getting into bossing and PvM we have a fair few members who, at this point, do nothing but that, and they are more than willing to take you on your first trip to Godwars, help you with finding the right gear and what to fill your inventory with.

After you join, just ask in the clan chat and chances are there is someone ready to help you out.

Off-site Experience Tracking

In The Grand Priory we use a lot of off-site experience tracking websites to get an idea of who is online and being active. On top of that we do experience events, in which the goal is to amass as much experience in a particular skill in a time period. Other than that, it is a fun way to check out the rest of the clan members progress from day to day.
