Hello, and welcome to
The Revival
.


The Revival has been around for 5 years within the clan community of RuneScape. We pride ourselves on being a mature, friendly, social clan that is dedicated to constant improvement. We make use of our own Discord server for communication and we have a personalized Clan Website for all to enjoy. While we cater to all members of our clan, Free-to-Play and Pay-to-Play, we are Play-to-Play dominant clan that hopes to further grown our Pay-to-Play community.

The Revival is always on the lookout for active, kind-hearted individuals who wish to join our ranks and make us grow. Our clan has as dedicated Clan Council that regulates all operations throughout The Revival and a fair, honest promotion system that allows for all clan members, regardless of playing style, to earn rank if they're willing to put forth the effort.

The clan governs itself by following our Book of Law; a list of rules that enable us to provide a healthy, kind, and charismatic culture within our clan. The Revival is strict and unwavering when it comes to the enforcement of its rules and swift action will be taken should there be a violation.

To ensure all areas of The Revival run smoothly, the clan has adopted a Clan Department system that categorizes our clan roles. We are always looking for capable and energetic clan members to take on responsibilities that help our clan regardless of rank, wealth, experience, or level. All are welcome to contribute within The Revival.

We are a clan that is looking to better ourselves everyday; there is always more we can accomplish. While you read through our forum, consider if The Revival is for you.

THE BOOK OF LAW


I.
There will be no inappropriate chat that utilizes derogatory language.

II.
All members will abide by the RuneScape Terms of Service within all chats.

III.
All members will be respectful of other’s viewpoints.

IV.
If asked to cease a conversation or redirect it, members will do so in adherence.

V.
There will be no advertising for other clans within The Revival.

VI.
All members will address each other respectfully.

VII.
There will be zero tolerance for spamming of any sort.

VIII.
There will be no begging for in-game resources within the Clan Chat.

IX.
Members shall not use dishonest means to advantage themselves.

*Any Council Member of The Revival (Admin+) can demote or kick a clan member if they fail to comply with any of the rules within the Book of Law. A clan member can appeal their demotion and the Council will then vote on whether or not the clan member’s rank will be restored.

PROMOTIONS


Every promotion within The Revival will be under the jurisdiction of the Council (Admin+). Any Council member can promote any member to any rank below Admin for their helpfulness, contributions, loyalty, activity, and participation. An alternate method for being promoted is illustrated below explaining how earning clan experience can award a clan member a rank as well. This is only applicable for the ranks between Recruit and Captain. From General+, there are distinct parameters for being promoted.


Recruit

All members who join The Revival will start at the rank of Recruit regardless of previous experience, wealth, or level.



Corporal

A clan member can automatically be promoted to the rank of Corporal by joining The Revival’s Discord server. This is optional but encouraged. This will only be applied to Recruits and will not be applied to members who are of higher rank. Should a member not join the Discord server, they will have to meet the requirement for the rank of Sergeant to be promoted.



Sergeant

A clan member will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant by earning
10,000,000+ clan experience.



Lieutenant

A clan member will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant by earning
25,000,000+ clan experience.



Captain

A clan member will be promoted to the rank of Captain by earning
50,000,000+ clan experience.



General+

A clan member will be promoted to the rank of General or above at the council's consideration.

DEMOTIONS AND REMOVALS


A clan member can be demoted within The Revival based on three different scenarios: Failure to comply with the rules, inability to coexist with current clan members, and inactivity.


Failure to Comply

Any Council Member of The Revival (Admin+) can demote or kick a clan member if they fail to comply with any of the rules within the Book of Law. A clan member can appeal their demotion and the Council will then vote on whether or not the clan member’s rank will be restored.


Inability to Coexist

Should a clan member prove that they are unable to get along with the current members of The Revival, the Council will have the jurisdiction to remove that member from the clan in an effort to preserve the cohesiveness within The Revival.


Inactivity

If a clan member does not log into the game and does not gain any clan experience within a 2 week period, that clan member will be demoted one rank. For each 2 week period of inactivity, there will be a demotion of one rank until the clan member is at the rank of Recruit. If the clan member continues to be inactive at the rank of Recruit, the clan member will be removed from the clan.

NOTE: NOTIFYING THE COUNCIL ABOUT A PROLONGED PERIOD OF INACTIVITY WILL PREVENT YOU FROM BEING DEMOTED.
