The Nine Inch Noobs are, above all else, a clan of people who share similar ideals and morals. This is the main thing that ties us together, and the main thing that sets us apart from other clans.
We Were all Noobs Once - This the main foundation of the Noob' morals, and at the risk of sounding philosophical, I'll explain what it means;
Every character you see in runescape is a real person. They should not be judged by their level, game knowledge, or wealth. If you must judge them, go by how hey talk to you. A level three has just as much potential to be a great person as a player waving his max cape around. Respect is not a skill in a game (except in San Andreas) and should be shown to everyone equally.
Common Courtesy - Unfortunately this is no longer common, and in competitive games it is dwindling fast. In it's basic form, it's not about going out of your way to be nice, it's about not saying or doing anything negative. Good manners are cost you nothing, so take a look at yourself and ask: are you such a selfish person you won't even share something free?
It's a Game, not a Job - Remember, you are playing a game. You play to have fun, and so does everyone else. Whatever your idea of fun, don't stick with a game you don't enjoy. There's no obligation to play, so take a break if you get bored. Also remember that other people's idea of fun might not be the same as yours, so don't criticise, or force them to change. There should never be a game, a community, or even a clan that requires you to do anything unless you want to.

-----Rules-----
As a relaxed environment for everyone, there are a few rules in place to make sure it stays that way. For the sake of official-ness, I'll even set them out as proper laws. Oh, and it goes without saying that all RUNESCAPE RULES APPLY TOO.
1 - Be excellent to each other - Any insulting, annoying, or generally being an idiot to someone else will get you a boot to the snow-globes. We're a friendly clan, and all you'll get out of being a twit is less friends.
2 - Don't judge people's opinions - People have different tastes. Some prefer range, some melee, some people rock to Queen, some don't. You get the idea.
3 - No arguments - Discussions are fine, but if you want to argue, take it out of the clan chat. Here's an easy way to tell the difference: Ask yourself if you know you're right, or just think you are. Then ask yourself if you'd change what you think if the other person's point makes more sense. If you wouldn't change your mind, it's an argument. Also, arguments can lead to breaches of rule 1. That's not allowed.
4- Please type "Cookie" under whether you've read all of the rules or not.
5 - Please respect every rank, and do not ask for a promotion. Begging will only result in a longer time before you get your next rank.
It's expected that clan members have the self restraint and responsibility to not break these. If it does however, it's every clan member's duty to politely point out to the rule breaker what they're doing wrong. If they don't stop, the main thing they will lose is the respect of their friends, but in severe, or repeat circumstances, will most likely be ejected from the clan. You Have been warned.
Rule 100 - Don't ever say it in my presence, or I will put your name on the hall of shame. Don't even think of it. And no, I won't tell you what it is. Just don't say it.

As a clan focused on friendship and camaraderie, ranks are not the be-all and end-all of your worth to the Nine Inch Noobs, and players of all ranks are to be treated with completely equal respect, higher or lower than your own. Ranks are there to ensure the clan runs smoothly and misuse of permissions doesn't happen. We only use a few of the available ranks, as we only have a handful of responsibilities.
Guest - Not actually a rank, but they are welcome, so long as they are polite. Remember, guests are potential recruits, and may end up being great people to talk to.
1 Stripe = Recruit
Summary - Has applied on the forums, and is in their trial period. This is when the player is getting to know the clan members, and for the clan members to get to know the player.
Rank Entitlements - Access to all events and chat.
2 Stripe = Corporal
Summary - After the trial period has completed, and is fairly liked by the clan members. A full member of N.I.N. that has proven to the clan members that they want to be part of the clan.
Rank Entitlements - Access to all NIN events, and access to Citadel
3 Stripe = Sergeant
Summary- A full member of N.I.N. that is fairly active, and contributes to the clan whenever possible. Shows respect in the chat towards members regardless of rank, and has spent some time in the clan.
Rank Entitlements - Will have a few NIN secret privileges.
Bronze Star = Lieutenant
Summary - A well liked member of the clan. Shows some signs of leadership, activity and contribution to the clan. Supports others when it's needed, and always shows respect
Rank Entitlements - Battlefield editing, able to start meetings, votes, rated Clan Wars, and may kick guests from the Clan Chat.
Silver Star = Captain
Summary - Similar to bronze star, except has more time spent in the clan, and shows a decent amount of leadership, activity and contribution.
Rank Entitlements - Able to kick guests and accept applications on the forums.

Gold Star = General
Summary - General is the first rank on the Admin Council Team. Starting to show serious signs of leadership, activity, contribution, and maturity in the clan. Has been in the clan for a long time, and is very well liked by the clan members.
Rank Entitlements - Able to promote people to Corporal.
Admin
Summary - Has a high responsibility in the clan. Shows true leadership, has the trust of the leader, contributes very often, if not all the time, to the clan, and is very mature
Rank Entitlements - Administrators can kick full members from the chat, and they are able to change settings for the citadel.
Organiser
Summary - Similar to bronze crosses, however, they have spent more time in the clan, and have gotten to know most of the clan members, as well as has the trust of the leader.
Rank Entitlements - Nothing new.
Coordinator
Summary - One of the most trusted members in the clan. They show maturity, very strong leadership qualities, is very well liked by the clan, and also has the trust of the leader.
Rank Entitlements - Nothing new.
Overseer
Summary - A player who shows utmost respect, and is well respected by clan members. A very, very strong leader that can put personal issues aside, and show maturity in the clan.
Rank Entitlements - Can make executive decisions for the clan, if neither the Deputy Owner nor the Owner are online.
Deputy Owner
Summary - Co-Leader of the Nine Inch Noobs clan!
Rank Entitlements - Free cookies

Owner - The noob of all noobs!

--- How to get promoted ---
As this is a social clan, one of the biggest ways to help get promotions is, well, be social!
Attending different events is one of the biggest things to help get you noticed. This will be accounted for in promotions. It is very important to be social in a community clan. The events show your activity, and that you want to get to know other members better.
Being active on our forum page is another good way to help become noticed! Being active on the forums will let you introduce other community-focused members, as well as help out newcomers! Finally, you may also read on future events, etc!
Being active in the Clan Chat is, if not, THEE most important thing in being an active member! This is very important to the clan as a whole. No one wants a boring chat where no one talks. We are open to all sorts of topic, but we obviously don’t want people to argue over petty details. Clan Chat activity includes being helpful to all members who ask questions, starting/keeping conversations, etc. If you have an issue with another member you should not insult them, rather try and solve the problem yourself or through a leader.
--- Promotions! ---
The admin team will give out promotions on a monthly basis. We will decide on promotions based off of the three main ways above, on how to stay active within the clan. We also look to see if you are a good person! Example - If you help out members when possible! Being a good person when the clan leader / admins are not around is the quickest way to get yourself a promotion!

The Clan Champion Challenge!:
This is an event for everyone to take part in if you wish to. All are welcome to try, its all for good fun and who knows, you may win the status of clan champion. This event will take place every Friday at 21:00 at the fight pits.
The rules for this event are....
~ All ancient ice spells are not aloud to be used during the fight.
~ No summoning during the fighting.
~ No hiding.
~ No teaming with each other, as its a free for all.
You are able to.
~ Use potions.
~ All magic, expect ancient ice spells.
~ Prayer is allowed.
~ All fight types can be used.
