simply put a clannie of mine got ghost kicked. Of course this is her story she told me of "i logged in this morning it said she wasn't a part of a clan"

She was second to me in clan exp with a good amount about 400m something i beliweve.
she has said this is her third time being "glitched out" of a clan. anyway this can be looked into or is this just her wanting to leave because to leave clan u need to hit yes to msg. Co-Owner of Stormguard...the bird is the word.

I highly doubt she's being kicked out due to a glitch. Is it possible that there's a clan member with the ability to kick that's doing this? It would make sense, especially considering this is the third time .

Unfortunately, Jagex can't "look into the backlogs" or anything like that, since the logs of that stuff don't exist for a very long period of time. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

Im on a ton anddidn't notice anything fishy/ In my clan there were only a few people able to kick and of course none of them did it nor were even on during the period where she got kicked. I figured it wasn't possible just figured to ask. I have never heard this happening to anyone else except her so. Based on her past as well im sure sh elft and wanted attention, most likely, but the only wierd part was i was on and did not see the clan system notification that she was kicked, of course made sure all settings were correct and all that so. at this point then there is nothing else to say then chalk it up to "casper"


I have sinced changed the kicking permissions to even lower who can kick, me and one other person can kick now, my friend of 10 plus years, co owner. Co-Owner of Stormguard...the bird is the word.

A strange situation indeed.

But, I would like to point out that ALL members ranked Admin+ have permission to kick clan members as there are no settings to change this currently. The setting that you probably changed is to kick Guests from the clan chat, not clan members from the clan.

Hope you're able to get things sorted out because you may have a rogue Admin who keeps kicking this person when no one else is online. ~ Sicariu

To me, it sounds like she may have just accidentally left the clan altogether. You said it's not the first time it's happened to her; maybe she confused temporarily leaving the CC with permanently leaving the clan? (this has happened with members in our clan, too, despite the warnings and confirmation messages)

All people with admin+ rank can remove people from the clan this is something that cannot be changed. The kick settings are for people who can kick guests from the clan.

On the situation at hand ghost kicking? whatever that may be isnt likely so its its either of these things

1. She is after attention as you say

2. Accidently keeps leaving as mentioned above

3. Account sharing and the other person is removing her without telling her.

If she had left the clan ( either purposefully or accidentally ) and you were online at the time, would your clan broadcast system not have told you that too ?

Even if you are on a lot liek you said, problems dont always have to be in the clan chat itself. If this was the case of someone acutally kicking it could have been through third party software or simply the in-game pm chat. But simply put, you cant just magically get kicked from a clan, it just wont happen lol.

If i were you i would start digging into the clan a bit more and start asking questions to your higher ranks and see if you cant find anything suspicious and start from that. Sucks that they lost a bit of xp but a person cant simply "glitch" outta a clan. There is something else going on.
