A few days ago, i met a person at GE. seemed nice, i invited him to clan.

Within 10 min he had borrowed total of 50m and was still asking. i do believe he
has an issue with Duel Arena.

I pm'd him told him not to be begging we didnt do that in clan. I said that to him
because another clan member pm'd me and asked should he let him borrow some
gps.

Anyway, i didnt give him a chance to stop. I just kicked him and banned him. told
the clannie that loaned him some gps i would give him gps back. He told me to wait
he was doing something i could pay him back later.

Fast forward few hours.

i log back in and the clan member i was going to give gps back to, pm'd me said
he had been talking to the kicked begger and that i had it wrong and that he had
actually given back the gps he borrowed. The clan member talked me into giving
him another chance.

So I did.. I appoligized and told him again we just didnt do the begging thing and
maybe i did things too fast.

That was 2 days ago. Now everytime he talks he is asking pple for loans.. Now dont
get me wrong he is paying people back. But other than can i borrow he hasnt
said much else.

Now i feel stuck. I know i should not have appoligized. I should not have let the
clan member talk me into giving him a chance.

I want to kick him again. I do honestly. But i also feel bad and i dont know why lol.

What to do??? The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

In my honest opinion, you tell him to stop asking for money and that if he continues after your conversation he will be kicked. You could also make it a "new clan rule" as to not single him out.

If you worry that he will stop begging in clan chat but do it in public and give your clan a bad reputation then ultimately he should be kicked and you should not be thinking about it.

My clan has a no begging rule, while some clan members loan other clan members money it is never done through begging in chat it is because they have known each other for years (for example when ascensions came out i bought my deputy the mainhand and offhand because he said he cant wait to make the money to try it out so i just bought it and told him to give it back to me after hes trialed it out.)

Yeah. A no begging rule is pretty standard in clans. Paying the money back is irrelevant if it causes people to feel uncomfortable. So Ask him to stop asking people and warn him if he continues he will be kicked. I guarantee he will continue. They always do.

Side note: ever heard of a long firm fraud? old con trick. borrow lots of small amounts and pay them back promptly to set up much bigger loans then cut and run.

I also enforce a no begging rule. I know that some clan members like to donate or lend items, but that's a personal choice. The majority of times, trades occur as any other trade would, through selling items to another member of the clan, and that's completely fine.

If I were you, I would issue a warning to the player in question. If they do not comply, you could consider stronger action, such as a mute or kick. You should also bring in a dedicated 'no begging' rule, to cover yourself for the future.

Thank you guys.

i spoke to him on Discord and for the couple days since things have calmed down.

I also told clan members to let me know if he does it when im not online and
told dep owners to kick if it continues.

my clan is almost 10 years old. I just have never had this happen lol. guess i been
lucky.

Well guys, i wish there was a way to warn you guys about this person.

But no naming and shaming rule :|

He ended up borrowing almost 200m and then he left clan blocked us all on discord,
put us all on his ignore im sure. And well no one will see their money.

I did warn everyone though before they borrowed. I even said it in front of him.

Smooth talker is what he was.
