Help to change clan name.

Hey!

We have a clan member named "Bobhaz" who used to be owner the clan Magic before he left the clan to join ours.

He left his clan in hopes to switch our clan names, his HCIM was made owner automatically after his departure. As you can imagine his HCIM has less then 1k total (886 total) and he had died on it (by "accident"... as he claims) and his account is now locked out of the game which put a big delay on our plans to switch our clan name with eachother.

He had the owner of "Magic" on his account Bobception, which was a Hardcore Ironman which died which has left us with no way to get the name for our clan.

There are no active clan members (as his account "Bobhaz" and his HCIM were the only accounts in the clan before Bobs leaving) that can take on the owner role of that clan to transfer the name.

Is there any way we are able to receive help for this problem? FIX PERFECT JUJU

Okay so let me make sure I understand this correctly:

As of right now, the only person in that clan is the leader, the dead HCIM account - right?

Since the account is over 350 total level, I believe he can post on the Inactive Clan Leaders thread, requesting that the clan be disbanded. That should free up the clan name, allowing you to change your clan's name to Magic.

IF that doesn't work, then the clan will disband itself regardless - after 90 days of having under 5 clanmembers. After those 90 days are up, you'll be able to claim the name. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

So you're saying that the clans that have less than 5 in-active members for 90 days will automatically free up the clan name?
I made a post a while back where I asked the question about freeing up names on those kind of clans, but the answer was that they wont be released.

Sorry, I'm just a bit confused. If someone knows more about this, I'd be glad if you can share the information. :)

I've confirmed that he is indeed a dead HCIM and removed him from the clan. This has freed up the clan name.

That's not to say someone else won't then take it... Mod Maz
