So what are you guys doing with the clan this Christmas?

I haven't uploaded any videos since that clan event thing Jagex did back in 2013 asking people to record videos of an event with their clan. Ref: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzPTD5_-5JQ

I'm thinking of maybe doing like an RSMV (RuneScape Music Video) or something.

Any plans to do fun events with the clannies? :P

With my clan

I am hosting a weekly lottery and a drop party and then giving out a grand prize on December 25th

I have yet to follow on. What jagex is doing it's Christmas annual event so may do something to include the event and give away prizes etc

Not explicitly my clan, but my Discord server. We've only done this once before, but we're turning it into an annual tradition that takes months of prep work.

Essentially, around July/August we open up a channel for people to submit in-game screenshots with a month attached. The goal is to tie the screenshots into a seasonal theme related to that month (So for a "December" screenshot, it would be all snowy and Christmas-y). After U.S. Thanksgiving, we close down submissions, and the server staff and I begin pouring over all the submissions, going month by month. We pick out the best submissions, and use them to make a RuneScape-themed calendar, which we aim to release around Christmas/New Year.

Last year we shared the calendar with the RS community as a whole, and it got picked up by Jagex social media who helped share it around. I'm hoping to get into talks with them again about sharing our one for 2020.
