First of all hope the start of your year is going well!
I thought I'd provide somewhat of a status update on what's going on with Clans, so here's the projects you lot can look forward to, as a note these have no release date on them whatsoever it'll be a matter of when time can be made for these
Status: Awaiting QA
This has passed Code Review and is awaiting QA, it won't be a quick QA as I've revamped the system a bit, in particular adding in the exclusive clan title and creating a way to quickly distribute the rewards to the top clans from this cup, when it's released I'll be hyped for sure, and I hope it does well as it'll set a marker for potentially future cups.
Status: Awaiting release
This is an engine fix that could be quickly sorted, it's now awaiting a release into an engine build, this fix will stop players with a lowercase letter at the start of their names appearing at the bottom of your clan chat list, yay!

This is a quick fix that hasn't had the time to be looked at yet, when I originally created the clan login message I limited it to Dep Owner+ only for security/safety but in retrospect should have been more lax in it.
This just needs an eye from QA before it can go out!

I just managed to finish the steps for QA today on this, this is an update that in my opinion beats the Clans QoL #1 update that released in November, here's the full release notes
- A special broadcast will now fire to your clan if you've been a member for 3/6/9 months or every year on the day of your join date when you next login
- The Clan Info interface has had a refresh bringing it up to NiS/Mobile standards
- The Clan creation date has been added to the Clan Info interface
- "Discord" has been added to Clan Keywords
- The Vexillum option has been removed from the Noticeboard edit interface
- When viewing a clan's noticeboard the title will now say the name of the Clan
- The clan event reminder notifications have been updated to include more information about the upcoming event
- An event notification message will now fire when an event has been running for 30 minutes
- You can now view the job title of a clan member by hovering over their rank icon in Clan Chat
- Entries in the "place" dropdown for the Clan Noticeboard will now be alphabetised
- Clan Log has now been updated to show you last weeks visitor and capped count (Note: For last weeks capped count your Citadel has to have rebuilt since this update)
Clan Guest chat has received the following updates:
- You now have the ability to view the information of the clan you're guesting in by clicking the I button
- Additionally you can now view that clan's noticeboard and see what events they have coming up!
- Clan staff can now set up a 'Guest Clan PIN' this will stop any guests from entering the clan if they don't know the PIN, if that PIN is changed, any guests reconnecting to your clan chat will be kicked out and will have to enter the right PIN once more
- When guesting in a clan chat you will now recieve event notifications from that clan allowing you to be notified when events from them are starting!
And... that's how we're looking so far, I hope it makes you excited! The next step is of course trying to get all of these QA'd but other projects have rightfully taken priority, so fingers crossed for the future.
