Just curious as to why someone who is on the clan ban list is still able to join the clan chat as guest. If someone could let me know, that would be great!

Are you certain they are on your Ban List? No typos in the name?

When someone on a clan's ban list attempts to join their chat channel as a guest, the attempt will still trigger the Clan System broadcast that says they joined the chat as a guest. The attempt fails because they're banned, but the broadcast still sends. Is this what you were referring to, or did you actually see someone on your ban list in your chat channel? ~ Sicariu

They are banned it is most likely the guest broadcast which is confusing you.

Have you checked your clan chat when that broadcast is fired, Have you seen them inside the CC, while on the ban list?

I agree that is annoying when a broadcast is fired for a ban user.

Yep these answers are correct. It still broadcasts when someone who is on ban list attempts to join the clan channel. They are not allowed to join the channel, but the broadcast can be useful to know who on your ban list is still trying to get back in on the sly.

Most likely this was just a broadcast and they didn't actually get into the channel. However, if they did indeed enter the channel while on ban list and you saw their name in your clan list, please let Shauny know. Although it was most likely just a broadcast letting you know they attempted to enter.
