Changing clan name question

If I change clan name will the old name be up for grabs instantly or will it be reserved for a month like a rsn? I wanted to change our clan name for April fools just for the month but I'm worried someone might snatch the old name.

That's an interesting question. I would assume it would become available immediately because there's no "last known as" for clans changing names, like how there is for players.

I'd be interested to know for certain though because I've never seen a question asked about it. ~ Sicariu

There is no grace period, once you change your clan name the previous one becomes available for anyone to take.
