Hi!

I've just noticed the avatar buff (skill plot bonus) that allows for a citadel cap to happen twice as fast only seems to apply to the warden. Shouldn't this be changed to apply to everyone in the citadel, to incentify group capping?

Thanks for your feedback in advance. :)

The range of the buff has always been a 22 by 22 square area centered on the avatar. So people need to be working within 10 squares of the avatar to receive it (providing they've also paid their weekly orts).

This means people will need to be working at the same skill plot, or possibly adjacent plots, depending on how the citadel is set up and where the avatar is situated. I have at times been able to position it outside the mining pot adjacent to the tree plot.

Also, this is a temporary patch until the full rework is released, in which everyone will be able to take their own buff with them to whichever plot they choose.

That's what I thought, although it did not work when I summoned it for my friend at the same plot. He was buffed, we both relogged, I resummoned the avatar, nothing :/

If you've checked that everything is in order, as it should be, then I can only suggest filing a bug report.

I do know that the buff seems to be broken for the Obelisk (summoning plot) . Several have reported that it's not working properly. I receive the same resource count at the obelisk whether or not the avatar is summoned, with or without the skill plot buff activated.

We have found that summoning and re-summoning doesn't always work if there is already an active buff from another avatar already there. So while the new buff would apply to you, your friend would be getting the first summoned buff and so that would not be over ridden when you summoned a second avatar regardless if whether they were close enough to get your buff.

I appreciate everyone's input and thinking beyond the information i provided, although I was the only one with an avatar out and we were at the loom plot. I'lll treat it as a bug then and report it in-game. I'm glad to know it's supposed to work for more people than just the warden, that's a relief!
