I understand that the kick restrictions might prevent rogue leadership people destroying a clan maliciously, however if it does have to be in game I think this should be optional to the clan leader.

If a clan is going through a period of trolling, whereby alt accounts are being created, or even something simple such as an inactivity sweep, this new restriction of two kicks per day is far too restrictive and inhibits the ability of leaders to maintain their clan. EDIT: Deputy Owners should be able to have near to the same allowances, what if the owner was away and trolls or inactivity sweeps occurred?

I understand there is a total level requirement and the potential to add a guesting pin, however this could be restrictive to recruitment.

Regardless, this update, makes inactivity sweeps, or troll management nearly impossible. ....

I have multiple accounts- My IM - my main and a skiller as owner / deputy owners. My dad has 2 accounts and my husband has 3 as well. Between all of us as 1 owner and 7 deputies we wouldnt have an issue with inactivity kicks if we did them.

I also feel like it'd be great to even set a specific clan job that allows you to choose who can kick people. [One example being that my husband and father both share deputy rank. My husband prefers to kick inactives- without asking me if they gave a notice and should stay or not! - but my father won't kick anyone unless I ask.] 23 200ms. Founder of Jamandy52 skilling clan. Interestingly enough, Mod Maz called this a "temporary" fix when the kick limit was first added.


I'm just going to copy/paste a reply I've left on this topic before:

Personally, my clan wouldn't use an option for more daily kicks, but I can see how some other clans would find it beneficial. As long as it's an optional feature that requires the Clan Owner to opt in, I'm in full support of it.

There are risks involved, but if the Clan Owner doesn't want to use this in their clan, they don't need to. Being able to personalize how we manage our Admin+ ranks is important because we all run our clans differently. ~ Sicariu
