We are a small group of players dedicated to the love of Great Orb Project and introducing this thoroughly enjoyable mini-game to the next generation of players. Current short-mid term goals are:
1. Monthly (50/50) GOP games - Tentatively every second Sunday at 20:00 game time.
2. Run consistent games when GOP is on spotlight. This is for the convenience of players looking to get Thaler consistently.
3. More frequent 50/50 matches.
Don’t be discouraged if no one is in the FC when you’re on! Most of our players are connected through the GOP Returns friends list and the discord channel. Just message me in game or in our discord server when you’d like to get a game going and I’ll check through it and see if anyone online is interested. If the discord link isn’t working, leave a post and I'll try and get it resolved.
How to play Great Orb Project:
Great Orb Project is located in the Runecrafting Guild that can be accessed via the middle portal at the top of the Wizards’ Tower. To enter the portal, you’ll need at least level 50 Runecrafting. You do NOT need to be a member to play as the game is 100% F2P.
Once inside, talk to any of the wizards to join a team, either green or yellow. If at least two players are on each team, a timer will countdown and at the end a portal will open. Going through the portal will take you to the air runecrafting altar.
You have three wands at the start.; an attractor, repeller, and a barrier generator. The wands are pretty straightforward in their description; a barrier wand can be annoying placed to block the other teams’ orbs, but can be destroyed.
