ATTENTION


Regarding the recent announcement of the closure of the forums, I will continue to update this thread for as long as I can. I will also of course continue to update the FC daily. In addition to this, the Rune Goldberg Machine or Vis Wax pages on the Runescape Wiki as well as the Vis Wax Discord are all updated updated daily, if you need another source. TIPS:

> No runes are needed in your inventory, they are taken from the bank instead
> Have a fair amount of each rune in your bank (suggested 5k+ for cheaper runes)
> Use a wicked hood to teleport to the runecrafting guild (one can be obtained for free from Tam McGrubor in Burthorpe
> Click on runes to enter them into slots 1, 2, and 3.
ALL SLOTS MUST BE FILLED FOR THE AMOUNT OF WAX OBTAINED TO SHOW
> Slot 1 is the same for all players, the best rune will yield 30 wax
> Slot 2 can be one of three runes, the best rune will also yield 30 wax
> Slot 3 can be any rune (except armadyl), the best rune will yield 40 wax
> Instead of paying excessive amounts of money, use an alternate rune (a rune that will yield less wax but more overall profit). The alternate runes change every day and can be obtained from the daily runes above, or from [VisWaxFc]


HOW TO READ FC TITLE

The FC title is the first and second slots.
Slot 1 = the first abbrevation in the title (e.g. As = Astral)
Slot 2 = the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th abbreviation in title (e.g. Ms Bo W = Mist, Body, or Water).
Slot 3 = Random (so we can't help)

You only need one of each rune to see if they work
20 possible runes, the BASE amount required to create the wax as follows:
Rune: #


Soul - 300
Astral - 300
Law - 300
Mud - 300
Blood - 350
Nature - 350
Death - 400
Cosmic - 400
Steam - 500
Lava - 500
Smoke - 500
Chaos - 500
Dust - 500
Mist - 500
Air - 1000
Earth - 1000
Water - 1000
Fire - 1000
Mind - 2000
Body - 2000

thanks a ton for continuing the thread, I haven't used any other since I started waxing. one last tip worth mentioning, for anyone who has 99+ rc, the rc skillcape perk will tell you what the primary rune is for the third rune slot, so if it's one of the cheaper runes it can save a few attempts!
