Something that's been bothering me for a while is Miscellania, being that for the most part hasn't been touched up or anything (evident by the lack of an "ascend to top/bottom" command on the ladders) and given the new Fort Content got me thinking! what if Miscellania and player houses somehow combined? because right now it's just a place that not a lot of people visit, and now with the remote access on the fort there's really no reason to go there after the few quests you get aside from the dungeon.
I can see all kinds of content revolving around that one, I mean after all you (the character) get a spouse on that island, so it would only make sense for the player to move there and create a strong kingdom and maybe.... just maybe... build an army and claim the outer islands of Gielenor, or maybe... by some freak accident a rift opens up releasing the creatures the void knights were trying so hard to fight off yet due to the lack of adventurers they managed to create more portals on the other side next to Miscellania, and now the quest is to join all the islands together under a united front to build fortifications and erect Dwarven Siege Cannons to lay waste to the creatures from the other world the once peaceful islands now struck with the chaos of war!
The player-owned house portion could become another defense as well, underground the enemies have discovered ways to invade by tunneling, but luckily we have some dungeon PvE traps we can set up thanks to the experience we get from the player-owned dungeons now on the surface we keep the invaders at by with strong fortifications and go over to their islands to clean them out, and down under we collect loot from the poor souls that wandered into the players traps, it could even have a few settings where the player can fight waves of enemies and train the soldiers.
