Hi!
My suggestion is to optimize the XP gained from all the lamps used in the "use all" feature (to include grown levels), or to add a qty section so players can enter the number of lamps they want to use simultaneously (so they don't have to use all and can use some simultaneously)
--------------------------------
I made a calculator to estimate how much XP I would get from using all these lamps from the event because I wanted to be a little more strategic in which skills to use them on.
An example scenario (just a fake arbitrary example) used on a level 70 skill:
3x small lamps
5x medium lamps
3x large lamp
1x huge lamp
The output would be 103,243.8 xp.
I noticed something that caught me by surprise: If I use the interface to "use all lamps" or "all medium lamps" etc. anything like that, then it would exactly use all lamps simultaneously.
The problem with this is that there's a (opportunity) cost to this for players who level up while using the lamp. If I only have 20k xp to go for the next level, then what I would want to do something like use:
3x small lamps
2x medium lamps
This would gain me 21,900.2 xp to level up. Then I could use the remaining lamps separately after I level up:
3x medium lamps
3x large lamps
1x huge lamp
This would score me 85,035.6 xp.
The total gain from this is 21,900.2 + 85,035.6 = 106,935.8 xp, which is 3,692 xp (this player missed out in nearly 4k of xp).
I know it's not a huge amount of xp in the above scenario, but I just felt like it could be reasonably optimized (and I had assumed it was already optimized so I was clicking "use all" thinking nothing of it before). I've read threads of people having more lamps or buying a high number of lamps, and it makes me wonder if they are missing out when those numbers become big.
Now that I know: I personally don't mind clicking a few more times to maximize the amount of xp I gain, but I figured it couldn't hurt to suggest optimizing it. Thanks! Faces of RuneScape (Selfies): 23-24-700-66015963
