According to the wiki the drop rate of Warpriest is updated on 13 July 2020. Players who did not participate in the world events now get an increased drop rate as well.
Expected drop rate: 1/128 for a random warpriest piece or 1/768 for each unique piece
.
This should be the same for the boss in GWD1 , the minions and the creatures you get your kc from (not sure if all monsters apply).
Edit: These are the numbers for Kree'arra. For the other bosses see 2nd post.
Now I suspect that this might not be correct in all cases. I personally did not participate in the 2nd world event (Bandos/Armadyl).
After
650 Kree Arra kills, I have gotten 5 pieces
(2x cape, 2x helm, 1x cuirass). Normally you would expect
22+
pieces in my case. On average
5
from Kree,
15
from his minions and a few extra from the Aviansie kc. I'm not sure how much kc I actually did, but it should be 280 minimum and probably even quite a bit more, so that's why I included
2
extra pieces to come to a total of 22.
The thing is that I'm 90% sure(*) all my pieces come from Kree itself. So that would be an average drop rate on Kree. However 0 from the minions and 0 from kc is what makes me suspicious.
Ofcourse 650 Boss kills, 1950 minion kills & 280+ KC is not the biggest sample, but the numbers are suspicious. Or I could just be incredibly unlucky on the minions and the regular aviansies.
So now I was wondering. Do people who have not particpated in the 2nd world event, have the same experience as me? Do people who have participated, have a much better drop rate? Or is the Wiki just incorrect in the first place?
(*)Reason I say 90% sure is because I semi afk the boss. 3 times I've seen the drop spawn after Kree died, 2 times I did not. But since only Kree and the melee minion come into melee range, I can exclude the other 2 minions for those last 2 drops. Those last 2 drops spawned where either kree or the melee minion had died.
