Add a few buffs to the ignore list to improve it.

When PMing someone that has you ignored, you'll get a chatbox message saying "(player name) has added you to their ignore list." This will let the player know further PMs to the player who's ignored them is pointless. You'll still be able to sent the message, but you'll now get a chatbox message saying the above.

Wiki doesn't state whether or not you can still see a ignored player's broadcasts so clearly you can, so let's change that by adding a new toggle for the ignore list that allows you to stop seeing all broadcasts from all players on your ignore list. If you have a player on your ignore list, why are we still forced to see their broadcasts?

Add a toggle on the ignore list that removes that player from view completely outside of the wilderness. Inside the wilderness, you'll still be able to see the ignored player.

This means both the ignored player and their pets cannot be seen at all by you, and this includes objects they drop on the ground which have click options.

This means you can ignore a player trying to Grief you at a skilling location and everything they drop like cannons flower etc act like they don't take up that square they're on. osrs runelite's entity hider can do this, so this is basically the same thing.

Thoughts?

Not a fan of any of this tbh, especially the first suggestion.

-If we have someone ignored, informing this person of this action would and could only result in more aggression from the ignored user, even possibly attacking them on a different account or grouping friends together.

-Broadcasts should be fine the way they are, gives people the opportunity to rethink their reasoning for ignoring the player and giving possible forgiveness.

-Completely ignoring the person from visibility shouldn't happen IMO even though this could be good in some instances, it would most likely take ALOT of time to implement and let's be honest, there aren't a lot of people playing RS3 now adays so making updates to make players disappear isn't really necessary for the small # of people who do it.

This example is unnecessary but w.e, sometimes you need to learn how to be in a situation you don't want to be in, try to make the situation better and that doesn't mean just your own situation. You can always try and make a toxic situation POSITIVE, instead of ignoring it.

Again I understand sometimes it's needed to separate from players and that's why there are 20+ different skills and many different worlds to help with this.

RuneScape is a community game, everything should be done in a way to try and group EVERYONE together, no matter what the situation is. Although I wouldn't vouch for this to be the situation for RuneScape today and for the past 10 years, so keep in mind they may jump at your ideas, but I do believe it would only create a more toxic and separated community as I see it to be today.
Be nice and help people
........ * No sarcasm towards this action please. * :P IGN:

I definitely agree with the ignore list for broadcasts. In my world there is an alt army spamming pet drop announcements. That was obviously never intended, so I should just be able to block them, instead of blocking everyone.

TBH I was going to disagree about making players invisible, but that would actually improve the game more than anything.

People following each other in circles is like the most annoying thing possible. I have to physically block them, so it's definitely reasonable that the computers should assist me in hiding this torture. Anyone who spins=automatic ignore.

Yet that doesnt always happens so just let them be as they'll get through it sooner or later.

I mean they can only do it for so long before getting though all their acc.

How does this make any sense?

Just because you find something "annoying" isnt a reason why something should happen.

I find quests annoying, yet i wont ever be allowed to skip them.

They are apparently not claiming the pets, so it goes on forever.

People spinning is more than annoying. Way more. It would be rude for me to describe it in any further detail.

Also, you can't just put a box in front of your screen and make the quests disappear. Totally different concept.

you cant even attempted to pm someone who has you on the ignore. so first doesnt make sense it will never happen, you always seen as offline no matter what.

just because wiki doesnt state something doesnt mean the opposite of what you thought means is true. thats not how it works. does people see broadcast if on ignore. no idea i doubt it though, but just because its not on wiki doesnt mean its clearly that opposite

i dont see the need to not have them see you entirely, this would cause so many more issues than its worth

lets say im at abyssal lords and i have someone ignore. my cannon is set up etc they cant see it, they may want to place cannon too. will it work? to them there is no cannon. i have them on ignore for a reason maybe its because they were trying crash at lords already. we need to be able to see cannons etc.

sure griefing situations is annoying, but here is 1 simple trick they dont want you to know!!!
add them to ignore as it is already, and hop worlds... its as if by magic it works
