A very useful kind of game-item has been forgotten for quite some time by developers:
DEFENDERS!
Defenders have been widely used by players since the release of Warriors' Guild, way before Runescape 3 came by! Now, with t95 weapons being released, we still don't have a t92 defender, and they deserve attention!
We have all 2 handed weapons, all dual wield weapons...the only thing we don't have is a t92 defender! It could be created with Imperium-cores, khopesh of Tumeken and Elidinis, Blightbound crossbows! It is also urgent, because it is a way to value these items that have grown obsolete with the new t95-tier equipment.
The t90 defender is themed after Kalphite King, using a kalphite chitin to be created, which helps to sustain the importance of our old Kalphite King, who would otherwise be forgotten. My suggestion for the t92 theme...
THE MENAPHITE PANTHEON
! A drop to be obtained by
The MAGISTER
, as it's forgotten in comparison to Nex: AOD and Solak!
ISSUE RESOLVED:
The Khopesh of Elidinis is worth WAY more than the khopesh of Tumeken. To balance that, t92 defenders need to be combined with a material coming exclusively from the Khopesh of Tumeken:
Blessed Tumeken gold
. A khopesh of tumeken can be broken down to 3 bars of Blessed Tumeken Gold at the Dragon Forge in the Ancient Cavern, consuming
1 blast fusion hammer
(quest requirement: While Guthix Sleeps)! Each defender would consume only 1 bar of Blessed Tumeken gold to be made, which would be an UNTRADEABLE item. So, you would use up 1 khopesh of tumeken to make 3 defenders for each style: ranged, magic, melee.
T92 Menaphite Defenders:
Made by a combination of items:
1x Ankh of Elidinis (dropped by the Magister, just like the Kalphite chitin mechanic)
1x Blessed Tumeken gold
1x Khopesh of Elidinis (for melee), 1x Imperium core (for magic), 1x Blightbound crossbow offhand OR mainhand (for ranged).
