The existing Notes interface is very useful, and it holds a place on my screen at all times to help remind me of tasks.
Currently, my notes are like a quest log, I make my dailies red, and when I complete them I change them to green. In some cases when things are in progress, or on a sort of hold, orange is a good colour. My downfall is how easily I overlook the orange.
To keep it simple, what I really want is cyan.
I believe if I had cyan in my notes, my quality of life with notes would improve greatly, both visually and functionally.
