I will start off by saying, I am not an elite PMVer by any means but I have been able to kill all bosses in the game, even Amby solo. I can do Telo up to 500% enrage before it becomes to much for me. I can do Zammy with a couple clan mates, but again, not at high enrage. I am a pretty average PVMer I would say.
Today I decided to give Rasial a shot and OH BOY where do I begin.... This boss is unlike anything I have encountered before in this game. I have attempted to kill him at least 4 dozen times now and have only managed 1 kill, and that was by extreme luck, not very clean at all.
I am not alone in my frustration. Half or more of my clan mates are PVM players and even they agree that Rasial is to much. So I am not alone in the idea that Jagex may be swaying future bosses in the direction of like the top 15% of elite players. Jagex needs to realize that the amount of people that can actually kill this boss more then once or twice is less then 15% of the player base, 20% of the player base at the most. This boss is NOT fun at all. I spent more money trying to kill this POS then I did learning Telos or Kerpac on release combined. I just hope this isn't an omen to how the new Vorkath boss is going to be. If so I will probably just head back to OSRS because playing expert mode Dance dance Revo on my keyboard is not my idea of fun.
