Trying to complete on my ironman without relying on wiki. When I search for the location "Gunnarsgrunn" on the world map (to talk to Overseer Siv), it doesn't come up.

Should be added to the search on the world map. Not sure if it's even a place I'm familiar with.

Gunnarsgrunn is basically the real name of Barbarian Village.

Since I can see on your RuneMetrics profile that you haven't completed the quest "Gunnar's Ground", the place is still only called Barbarian Village to you.
Only after completing said quest will the place acquire its actual name on the world map.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
