Before one of the last few POF updates, I got 3 ravensworn animals in a span of few weeks. After one of the updates I must have bred hundreds on rabbits and yaks without getting even one. Anyone else has this issue? Same issue for few as per reddit, though not an issue for a few. Is this my account issue or something changed in game? Do the parents need particular traits to obtain this? I have the title, and though wiki said not needed - I tried by enabling the title as well.

I think you're just being very unlucky. If you have the title, then your animals should be able to breed babies with the trait.

Mod Raven has confirmed that the mysterious trait has an effect on the chance of producing a Ravensworn baby. Try rerolling the parents' traits, to see if you can set them up with that particular trait.

Thank you for the response. I rerolled one of the yak's parent and one of rabbits parents traits to mysterious. Took around 40-75 rerolls on second slot to get that trait for each animal. I will post if and when this works.

Finally got raven sworn yak!

The parent yaks are (with traits):

Non breeding pen
-Male Fremennik yak - Genetic Mutation\Sparkling\Glistening
- Female Spirit Yak - Sparkling\Mysterious

Someone else mentioned ravensworn needs Fremennik yak and doesn't work with both spririt yaks as parents. That could have been my issue. But I cannot confirm for sure.

Still waiting for ravensworn rabbits. Next on list is to try ravensworn cows.

I cannot confirm, either. I would wager that it's only the trait that really matters, but Mod Raven is known for his sneaky ways. :P

gen mute / gen inst / mysterious (on both animals) gives best chance of a ravensworn animal

possibly gen mute / gen inst / raven + gen mute / gen inst / mysterious maybe better but either way if hunting these would be best traits to have on your animals
