GE tax calculating incorrectly

I thought the new tax was a flat 2%.. why then when I attempt to sell something for 1,020,000gp do I only get 999,600 back? I should get 1,000,000 if the tax is calculating correctly.

If I want 1m for my item, I have to try to sell it for 1,020,408.

Jagex, please check your math.

You multiply by 0.02 to get 2% of a number.

1,020,000*.02 = 20400

1,020,000-20,400 = 999,600

1,020,408 * .02 = 20408.16

1,020,408 - 20408.16 = 999,999.84

Math can't be rewritten. They are giving you free money on the round up.
