For over a year now, it has been extraordinarily difficult if not impossible to get a game of Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza going, apparently due to some instancing issues. Since then, then have been numerous posts on Reddit about this, but to no avail.

This is a huge problem because you essentially have a major piece of content that is completely unplayable. Worse still, this feature affects free-to-play players as well. This means that new players who are stumbling onto the minigame will find themselves kicked to the lobby every time they try and play. And because this is the only minigame that free players can solo for Thaler, there will inevitably be some people who will try to play, find that they are unable to, and become immensely frustrated with the game as a whole.

There is no justification for leaving this in as is. If it takes too much development time and resources to fix, it needs to be removed. If it takes too much time to remove, then that's a sign that Jagex simply aren't prioritizing the integrity of the game. Leaving in a broken piece of content may seem easier in the short run, but I am 100% sure that the bad taste in players' mouths will only leave the game worse, not better off in the long run.

As always, I look forward to reading your comments.

Evidently new players aren't bothered with most older minigames as we saw from FSW. There are many new D&D like Wildy Flash Events new players are more appealed to, that's why it may be harder for Jagex to spend time on older minigames.

FYI, Cabbage Facepunch is a Spotlight minigame so usually you can find players to play with when its up in the rotation. The next Cabbage Facepunch Spotlight is on October 9 though. Alternatively, there are minigame and D&D clans or FCs you may want to join to play specific minigames on more regular basis.

What exactly did we see with FSW?

It was incredibly obvious most players played Wildy Flash events in FSW, even more than in the main game. I also saw plenty of players in Guthix Cache. Some in Sinkholes and Warbands, but none in old minigames like Castle Wars, BA and such.
