I had an idea to try that I saw a long time ago -- a kind of forum game where the community makes a story one person at a time. I figured it'd be worth a try to do a runescape themed one.

How it works: We write a story one paragraph (or sentence) at a time, and we quote the person that submitted the previous line to avoid confusion.

Rules:

1. You can't "End" the story.
2. It must be runescape related.
3. Forum rules still apply, of course.
4. Breaking the 4th wall is fine.
5. General chaos and absurdity is fine.
6. Avoid mentioning other players.

START

A new player awakens in Lumbridge. Looking around, he is filled with curiosity to which he quickly asks himself "am I in OSRS or the regular RS?"


He quickly answered his own question when he saw no bots killing goblins and rats, and only the helpful community sharing portable workstations and buffs above the General Store. Oh yes, he told himself, such new community and such new content... it must be RS3, W84 on RS3.

W84 was then invaded by necromancers. The players were so distracted with continuous grinding,they forgot the necromancers were sucking the life source out of them. 10 minutes later many players began fainting. Except a few who have the rare magical ability...

The players woke up and found themselves at a crossroads. Death came to the rescue on his boat. Death said: "your souls are now mine, your destination: City of Um".

The lost souls became masters of the necromancy skill but Rasial was still no match for them. They enlisted the help of Hermod to defeat...
