it works about the same as most player vs player forums games work, but here is how this works:

to post, first include this:

'I am posting in favor of ____."

replace the blank with the game you are posting in favor of

----------

second, follow these instructions:

add the current count, but minus 2 if you're in favor of OSRS, or plus 1 if you're in favor of RS3. you can post in favor of either games.


----------

and then in the next section, you have to do either of these:

- add 1 piece of content from the game you are posting in favor of and that none of these apply to:

it has already been posted on that page
it does not exist in the game you are in favor of
it is in the game you are not posting in favor of )

-quote one of the posts from the opposing side that doesn't follow the rules and point out what they did wrong

the count starts at 25, OSRS wins at 0, and RS3 wins at 50. if either side wins, the count resets to 25 and the win will be marked on the history post below this one.

Let the game begin!


this example acts as the first post:

I am posting in favor of OSRS.

Here is a template for posting, the parts in curly brackets are the parts where you insert stuff:

i am posting in favor of {game you are posting in favor of}.

{current "count" minus 2 if you're in favor of OSRS, plus 1 if you're in favor of RS3}

{piece of content from the game you are posting in favor of that follows the game rules from the main post}


Here is another way you can post:

since that is the first post, i will not subtract any points, but i'll just let you know real quick: after you put in the count and which game you are posting in favor of, you need to do one of these:

Hi Ed! Nice concept! If the game takes off/people start participating, it is unlikely that people will scroll through pages to see if the item has already been posted. With that in mind, it isn't a practical or easily enforceable criteria to have and you might consider removing it.

With my next post, I will participate. I didn't want to mix my advice with participating.

i'm posting with a quote of someone who didn't follow the game rules rather than a piece of content, like it says you can do in the game rules.
