The 2 hid within their forts, only popping out for a brief moment to spy upon their enemy.
You could hear the sinister giggling as they plotted and schemed.
As the minutes passed, neither could take the pressure of waiting.
At the same instant, both burst forth from their forts with a mighty yell.
They charged over the 10 foot no man's land with their pillowy weapons in hand.
The flailed about and laughed at the madness of it all.
Several minutes later, both gladiators were on the floor exhausted and asleep.
Their mother then walked in and surveyed the carnage they had caused ... she left the mess to clean up at a later time ... after the 2 kids had woken up.
