This is the background behind the fractured titans, as well as a description of the beasts themselves. I originally included this in the Runepoll, but I did not have enough room to post both the lore and the information on the mobs themselves. Enjoy!

The Beginning

While researching the Summoning obelisk beneath the Underground pass, the Master Summoner Dippendots noticed some strange crystals that appeared to be in the shattered form of an ice titan.

Upon closer inspection of his find, Dippendots ascertained that the fragments were not that of ice crystals, but rather of a similar composition to that of the elven crystals he had seen in the elven lands. Due to the long distance home, Dippendots decided it was best to only bring one crystal piece with him. He attempted to pick up a chestpiece, but it was much heavier than he had imagined. In his struggle, an elder charm rolled out of his summoner's pouch and towards the crystal carcass.

Suddenly, as if it had received a breath of life, the titan's pieces re-attached to each other, restoring it to its former glory. Dippendots had discovered it- the perfected titan. Only the greatest summoners had even heard rumors of its existence, let alone believed they could maintain it in this realm, yet Dippendots managed...or did he?

Not all Summoning Familiars are so easily maintained.

A dark magick seeped from the walls of the Underground Pass and into the titan, corrupting it and infusing its crystal with dark energy. The first Fractured Titan was born.

Dippendots tried his best to keep the Titan under control, but his Summoning prowess was not enough. He was struck with pure terror as the Titan, being the size of K'ril Tsutsaroth, towered over him. He attempted to flee, but it was impossible for him to escape.

Whiff Whiff

Two large shadow-crystals plunged into the summoner's back, ending his life.

The Fractured Titan, influenced by the Dark Lord's power, tried to roam to the elven lands to bring havoc and death, but the Light One's influence was too stong.

As soon as the Titan stepped foot outside the Underground Pass, it shattered into eight smaller, greater-demon sized titans. The newly-formed fractured titans (since they are now a type of creature rather than just one being with a name, the term 'fractured titan' will no longer be used as a formal term, and is thusly decapitalized) returned into the cave to absorb more power. Two titans slightly burrowed into a nearby wall, and, using shared energy of the other titans, exploded- the first forming a crystal fissure a few meters deep and the second forming a covert for the remaining titans to reside in whilst regaining their power.

The power consumed by the sacrificial titans was so great that the remaining six fractured titans again fractured into twelve, slightly-larger-than-lesser-demon-sized titans. The size to which they remain to this day.

The Dark Lord sealed the fissure, and granted some of his energy to empower the titans, making them invulnerable while they rested.

On the Dark Lord's Defeat

After the hero has defeated the Dark Lord in the Plague's End quest, the seal on the crystal fissure is removed, and the titans become vulnerable again, ready to be slain by the agile adventurer.

~~~~End Background~~~~ (for now)
Tl;DR
(Takes place before Plague's End) The summoner Dippendots accidentally summons the crystal Titan in the Underground Pass, is amazed, Dark Lord uses his power to corrupt the Titan, Titan is super strong, kills summoner. Titan can't be too far from Dark Lord's power so it burrows into the wall, leaving behind a crystal fissure.
~~~Enemy Description~~~

The fissure itself requires 80 agility to navigate through (boostable), 80 agility also helps the player to not take full damage against the ranged attacks.
Completion of Plague's End is also required. Prior to its completion, it is impossible to access the fissure. The examine text states that it is "sealed by dark forces".

Fractured titans are single-combat enemies (think glacors) that have no weakness and have 25k hp. They fire dark crystals, dealing a decent amount of ranged damage. Due to the speed of the attack, the player needs level 80 agility in order to avoid taking full damage.

Fractured titans also have a magic attack, in which they shatter a ranged crystal and blast the dark energy at you. This is a weaker attack that deals much less damage but slightly lowers the player's agility level. (levels 80-85 agility is a 1 level drop, 86-95 is a 3 level drop, 96-99 is a 4 level drop- this is all assuming the titan doesn't splash)

If the player's agility drops below 80, the titan's ranged attacks will deal 2k true damage each.
Upon its defeat, the titan fractures into 4 mini versions of itself. These minis have 7k hp each and are weak to crush attacks. They do not have a magic attack, but still attack with range. 80 agility is still required for the reduction)
If not killed within 10ish seconds (maybe too easy?), the mini titans re-combine and form a weaker titan. All 4 minis = 20k hp, 3 = 15k, 2 = 10k, 1 = 5k hp.
