Greetings! My name is Hicesias, a name inspired by the ancient philosopher Diogenes' father, Hicesias. I've had a total of five accounts while playing Runescape, which were Shadowruby6, created in 2009, Diamondsly52, created in 2011, Graenolf/Graenmyre for OSRS and RS3 respectively, created in 2016, DerK0mmissar, created earlier this year (2018) for OSRS, and now my current account, created in early June of the same year. For my first three, I had forgotten the passwords, and for DerK0mmissar, I shamefully admit that I was perma-banned for botting woodcutting. I deeply regret my poor choice to do this, but the past is in the past, and it's safe to say I'll never even consider doing it again. I'm now on Hicesias, making an honest living as a mage as well as a cook.
In the past month, I've been on a heavy grind, trying my best to make a name for myself, or at least prove something to myself. With the help of a few gifts from my friends who play OSRS as well, I've managed to reach level 70 cooking and level 60 magic, as well as having gotten both smithing and crafting above level 50. And while I know this certainly isn't the most impressive feat, I'm nonetheless proud of myself for reaching these levels without shying away from hard work.
I've made the decision to buy membership once I reach total level 500, which I'm only a few levels away from. Once I get my membership, I'm going to start training herblore and construction, two of my favorite skills.
One big short term goal I have is build a gilded altar so that I can properly train prayer, because honestly, who wants to bury bones all day long? I'm a patient man, but I could only stand burying bones up to level 11! One big long term goal I have, and I know this sounds cheesy, is to become an inspiration to other players. I want to help and inspire as many as I can, because nothing makes me more happy than seeing others enjoy the game just as much as I do. I'll post a bit more as time passes, until then! -Hicesias
