Hello Everyone, Staffers included. (Please note, this is a brief background on myself, followed by several questions! (Questions for everyone!)


About Me...

I am Dan, 30yr old Male from EST CT USA.

I started Runescape, as the first video game that would project me into my perpetual future of gaming. (Got my first computer at age 7, I forget the exact age I started Runescape, but it was not much after getting my first PC)


So...


I loved every single bit of the concept of this game, grinding out stats- achieving greatness.

I took several small breaks from the game (College, Moving around, Changing up Games.)

But now, I have returned. --- extremely pleased to see not much has changed. (at all, literally lol) --- see some new skills --- Bear in mind, im nearly maxed out everything.--- whenever I took breaks from the game I invested into certain materials all my gold, in hopes the items would inflate .... (Sadlyy, lost about 20% net worth, not a major hit. love farming monsters, etc.

Well Now.....?!?!?!


What to do, what to do....

My daughter is 5 years old, and I have been slowly showing her more and more about the game--- she LOVES it. :) (Very proud) :)
--- I want to work towards getting the VERY BEST gear (weapon/armor/etc) to go boss hunting with her. ------

I want gear that doesnt turn to dust (repairing it is fine), but the STRONGEST gear possible.- I remember tip.it (love that site) --- and have used google extensively, but not finding concrete info.

---- Questions for you guys,


1. Whats the best gear for maxed out characters hunting bosses
2. Best gear pvp maxed out characters?
3- Clan eventually! =P will have more time to play personally when she starts school next week.

Anima core set is the best non degrading armor depending on melee,range,magic or hybird set, However, they don;t come with prayer bonus. You can go cheap just buy Bandos it good enough. Weapons you can go passive Saradomin Godsword if you want to be cheap. Use duel wielding weapons shield are useless.

Ok, since you asked, I have some suggestions for you:

As far as the best gear to use, the official RS Wiki is a great resource which can be easily accessed through this forum (under Game Guide at the top of the page) or in-game using the Wiki button in the bottom-right corner of the chatbox. As you have probably heard, PvP was recently changed so that it is opt-in only, so it is no longer the Wilderness you knew before.

I work alone, so I have no real advice to offer in regards to clans.

Before you expose your daughter to actual bossing, you might want to take her Dungeoneering. This will give her good opportunities to practice on the simpler Dungeoneering bosses as she learns different strategies for defeating various bosses. Not only will this help her to adapt to multiple combat techniques, it will help her decide which styles she prefers and which ones she is most interested in working on. This knowledge should come in handy when you two decide to hunt other bosses. It will also give you both opportunities to practice working together as a team to take down a challenging foe.

One more suggestion I will make, especially since your daughter is so young. Disable World Chat by setting chat to Friends or to Private. Make sure you each have the other added as a Friend, in case you get separated. Not only will this make crowded areas like the Grand Exchange less overwhelming to her, it'll help to keep her safe from scammers, phishers, and other undesirables who may use language you wouldn't want your child to see. As a parent, I would expect you've already thought about this, but it bears repeating.

Kids grow up too fast. I hope you and your little girl enjoy your adventures together. I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^

1. depends on the boss its not just 1 set of armour

2. same as above
