Introduction


Hello there!

My name is Str Again/Eric and I have been playing RuneScape off and on since 2003. I played from 2003 to 2008 with little to no breaks, and then College got in the way. After College the Real World got in the way. From 2008 to roughly 2017 I would categorize my RuneScape time as limited at best, to non-existent at the worst. Like many others, different interests and priorities replaced that young 15 year old whose only desire was to play RuneScape.

However, anyone who played in the early years of RuneScape knows one fundamental truth: You don't quit RuneScape, you just go AFK . No matter how many times I told myself I was never coming back to RuneScape, something would trigger a thought in my mind and the next thing I knew I was back to my old hardcore grinding ways; as if I never missed a beat.

Over the past 10 years I went to College, graduated, got an entry level position as a Software Developer, and have steadily worked my way up to be a Lead Development Manager overseeing large-scale projects in the Fin-Tech space. I've finally gotten to a point where my life has stabilized and I'm willing to give RuneScape another go with a brand new account!

I plan to use this thread as an outlet to track my progress, gain a huge following and slowly take over the world...of RuneScape.

Goals


My goals are generally a lot different than what most people set out to achieve in RuneScape. I've always played RuneScape in such a way that I felt like I wasn't just following the crowd. My goals are not to get 99s, Max, Comp, or Trim. Hell, they're certainly not to get 5.4b Total Experience. I like to train my accounts to be different than the rest, which is difficult to achieve in a time where everyone and their grand-mother has Max Total. I enjoy it when someone asks "Why are your levels like that?". I've always enjoyed getting high experience totals in certain skills.

With that being said, the following are some of my most immediate goals that I have in mind. All of these are subject to change as I progress through the list. Also, I generally set more "Short-Term"/"Incremental" goals, rather than just listing 200m in stats. Sometimes I'll even work on multiple goals at the same time to keep things interesting!

Below are the Achievements that I am most proud of. One thing you'll notice is that I do not list every time I reach a 99. I do not classify those as "Big Achievements". Instead you'll see Experience Milestones, One Time Events being obtained, etc.

One thing I do really enjoy is gathering the Skilling Pets. Below are the current Skilling Pets I have been able to obtain and the experience at which I got them (rough guess on some of them).

OSRS Hardcore Ironman


While I am primarily an RS3 Player, I did recently get the itch to start a F2P Alt on OSRS. Thus, I created a F2P OSRS Hardcore Ironman and will track the progress on this page. As stated, RS3 is still where I spend 95% of my time, so the progress here will be much slower.
