I am back in boss mode, and this time I have started it off with a bang. The boss itself, took me a considerable amount of time to get my head round but yesterday was the day and I got my 5 kills solo consistently.
It did take me a bit longer and I attempted to do it without any prayer which is also on my list of to dos, but I am not quite there yet. I will update this thread when I manage to do so. My record is the zaros phase without prayer and solo. And considering I am usually less of a bosser, I don't think I did bad at all!
I used:
Pernix quiver with enchanted bakrimel bolts (ruby and hydrix)
Wyvern crossbow (in for a treat with this one, months down the line it'll be eligible for a nice upgrade!)
t92 body and chaps
t90 mask
Essence of finality (SGB)
t90 fleeting boots
pernix gloves
Blessed flask
Advantage taken for free enhanced overloads this month (cheers Jagex!

T99 desolation curse
Deflect mage throughout almost with soul split occasionally.
Fully working manual controlling several action bars, simultaneously!
So yeah I'm doing good, it's time to work some more on the boss. I am also pretty speedy at vindicta where my record is under a minute with this setup!
