I've been back for about a month now (The last consistent, actual play time was in 2009, I think? The last skill that came out when I was playing was construction) it's been super fun. But with everything added into the game now, I feel a bit overwhelmed. A buddy of mine told me just to do the questlines, which in between, I've been skilling.
I think what's blown my mind is it looks the same, but the player behavior and economy are waaaaay different. Went to buy an obby cape, almost cost me a mil! I thought I was recalling it to be like 300k back in the day, haha.
Sorry to bore you with my short n sweet return story, but onto the main goal now.
GOAL FOR THIS MONTH
SKILLING
I'm going to try to hit all my stats to level 50+ Some of the skills, like hunter (Hunting?) are different and interesting. I'm almost there with a majority of my stats now, but we shall see how long things like construction and hunting take.
COMMUNITY
Perhaps I am trying to relive the glory days of being a child while playing, but making some awesome friends on here again would be nice. Unfortunately, my friends list from back in the day transferred to RS3, but those that were on it are long gone.
QUESTING
I think Hero's Quest is on my bucket list for this month. I know this is one of the easier "grand" quests, but I ain't quite there yet in terms of skills, nor do I recall much of it. I think it was a pretty decently hard quest? I digress.
I noticed a Dragon Slayer 2 quest was added! Friggen sweet, can't wait to hit that quest up... but it's gonna be a minute LOL I still recall the sweaty palms I had trying to do Dragon Slayer 1 back in the day.
