7/14/18 EDIT: Table of contents on post 5. MANY trips logged on different accounts and I am adding an OLD SCHOOL RS Revenant log on page 5. Cheers.

Ok so really just want to make a log since logs are fun and my drops have been a tad ridiculous lately (Got b2b drops from goblin and pyrefiend last night)....wanted to do one at the start but you know how that goes. Will update a bunch more since it's late and I'm not going to spend hours on this atm (Will organize later, probably with backstory not on first post) Not sure how many reserves to make...hate the clutter of too many but w/e. Not to mention that NO ONE gets on forums anymore, so mostly this is just for me, and the occasional visitor.

So I've been "Revving" for quite a long time now. Started back when they first came out and honestly, it's the most hideously addicting piece of content on this game for me. Not sure why...and it continues to bring me back.

Started this account just for Revs, got 92 mage, kept my defence at 25 for fungal armour so I couldn't be pked (or at least extremely unlikely to be pked)

Trips consist of roughly an hour with aforementioned inventory (usually between 30-50min due to boredom lol). I bank when I get a drop and continue trip. Instant G.E bank if over 200k or I run to Wildy bank outside of cave sw if not. If I get pked then a trip is abruptly over and I restart. May change how I calculate a "trip" but idk. Ironically I started this log on a text document and my first trip was my 2nd most lucrative hour ever lol.

Well shoot....logged in to a pking team. Was totally not expecting that. Haven't seen one of those in ages. Forgot to protect and ofc now I can't just drop poly staff. So Lost my Ghosthunter Helm AND Coin collector. Probably won't update for a bit as I get that back. Pretty fkn lame.

Mini-guide

First of all pkers are obviously the reason why killing revenants is worthwhile at all and there exists a mutal dependency. Without one, we could not have the other.

That being said, we definitely want to avoid them at all costs, as deaths are no fun but does add heart-thumping sensation to the mix.

*ALWAYS use legacy cb. This is one of the ONLY places where legacy is far superior due to how they heal and how you must build adrenaline in order to really kill one. I've tried Virtus Wand/Book combo (besides the added risk of equipment) and it is easily beat with Polypore staff.

Polypore staff absolutely DESTROYS them. Even the Dragon. My max hit at present is 750 and it is quite common to one-hit them. Dbeast/knight/drag take a little longer but it is still incredibly accurate

Coin Collector...This is VERY valuable as it makes it so there are no red dots on the mini-map. I have a feeling that if I were a pker, this would be the easiest way to scout for active worlds to pk (with that potion that hides your dot). So what do we do then? Get rid of the red dots...I have pkers show up frequently when I do not use coin collector and rarely see a soul if I use it. Coincidence? I think not.

Salve (e)....20% Extra Damage
Ghosthunter... 3% one piece, 6% two pieces, 10% three or more pieces

Ring of Wealth (4)...Teleports you out of lvl 30 Wild. Note that Teleblock is the first thing that is cast typically, so not too terribly useful against pkers. However, on the off chance it fails for some reason, or they are too slow...great. It's main use is increased drops (pretty important) and being able to tele immediately when you get a valuable drop. Also has +10 attack bonus which is nice

Set Draw distance to HIGH or ULTRA. This allows you too see anyone approaching a little easier. Do not trust the mini-map. Use your eyes.

12 Forinthry (5)...each charge is good for 1 minute of invulnerability, 12 = 1hr of no damage from Revenants. Worth the 40k

Mini-guide etc.

*Sigh* was happy to miraculously end the guide at 0 char left....but ofc I forgot a few things.

Obviously Steelie/Torment/Ovls is going to increase damage quite a bit. I've tried it recently...definitely something to try out. Ofc, is a little too much running around and it takes some of the fun out of it for me, idk why. Guess b/c corpse is why I've made well over 200m

You "can" use accuracy boosting items but it really isn't necessary since they are weak to mage.

Silverhawk is a good option, and Dragon Gloves for hands. Now you have boosted your risk by 100k...difference is negligible but still something obviously.

Zammy Cape's +31 magic attack more than makes up for your loss of gloves/boots.

Idr what I wanted add besides that....so as is for now.
