I started this account back in august of 2015 as a welcome backer to rs, though I had been playing for 14+ years on and off, I came back with a
Was so happy to see that many of my old friends still scape and many of them were happy to see me back , which brought much joy to my heart.
Prayer has always been a fixation of mine, even back in the old days. Cosmetically its a lovely skill to get 99 in as the cape is white and works with so many lovely outfits that I adore. It's always been a rather expensive skill and one that seems impossible to turn a profit from. That being said, I knew if I found a way to amass the gp /bones/ashes required of a goal like level 120 or a 200m xp cap, I could settle somewhere pleasant on the High Scores list.
When I came back a few friends of mine who were expert pvm'ers and a few regular duel arena stakers offered me the coin required of achieving level 75 construction, which is the level required for constructing a Gilded Altar in one's player owned house.
So I went to work, grinding out the levels as soon as I could. Once I built my altar, I homeworld'ed world 31 (the home of open gilded altars and Altar clan) and became an altar host. During this time, Altar himself, offered me a position in his cc/fc and an integration of our communities, but my ranks and his at the time did not get along. Thus my fc has been retired to set that animosity to rest. For those of you who aren't familiar with this industry it essentially consists of a Host, opening up their POH to others to train prayer saving the trainers lots of gp as the altar provides something like 350% experience per bone/ash offered. So the folks who would come in to train offered me donations as gratitude. I continued this process for 15+ hours a day for months... also offering bone running services ( where one runs to the bank, and un notes the bones offered by the training player for some coin in recompense)
