Can't login using user/pass

While using Runescape today the mobile client froze so I closed it.
Afterward when I try to login I'm given the choice to continue with email / username (the choice I always use), Apple, Facebook or Google
When i choose email / username I'm redirected to a page about cookies e after i close it shows a message
"Single sign on failed because you exited without signing in"

I've tried restart my device (didn't work), then removing all data from app (didn't work), then removing the App and reinstalling (still doesn't work)
