I'm experiencing more and more difficulty getting through the new area's. My phone and tablet have serious problems dealing with this. It's almost as if they didn't even think about us. In these area's it's either one or less frames per second or crash and restart the app. I finished last quest after 15 crashes.

It's reaching a point where i would expect more from a mobile game.
The graphics are there, it just doesn't run smoothly.
I've used many different graphic settings on both tablet and phone, but nothing seems to help much. I hope they will either use less graphic explosions in future content or make a setting that actually helps making it run smoothly on low end devices.

Hello Dim Phantom,

I am sorry to hear that you are having graphical and/or performance issues when using your mobile device to play Runescape on. You mentioned lowering your graphics and still facing the same issues. Have you tried to change your FPS as well? Anything but unlimited or 60 FPS could, potentially, fix the issues you encounter.

Now you do have have to keep in mind that, for a game this big, it is already quite impressive that they have managed to create a mobile application for it with, personally, amazing graphics for both the RS3 and OSRS versions. It is only normal that it does come at a cost; older phones and/or tablets may be having a hard time keeping up with everything that is going on when playing the game.

IF your device does not meet all the recommended specs and you still want to enjoy yourself playing Runescape on mobile you’ll have to make do with what you get and accept the fact that your mobile device does not meet their recommended specs and therefore are facing issues while playing the game. Been there myself. Ooh, shiny things!
