Today I lost connection using a Samsung Galaxy S9, and couldn't log back in again, with a regular username/email, because it keeps saying: "Could not connect. Please check your internet connection or try again later.", even after clearing cache and reinstalling the game entirely.
This doesn't seem to affect google accounts, so it's definitely not a network connection either.
How can I fix this anyway? Or is this a server/UI issue?

Do you happen to use the Opera web browser? If yes; the latest Opera update is causing issues for it’s users. My advice is to uninstall the web browser or use the default web browser to login. Ooh, shiny things!

I'm having the exact same problem, not being ablr to log through the email/username login method
Says i'm not connected or should try later. Tried using google login, which works, but i dont have an account linked there.. this is fairly mandatory to be fixed. Im wasting hours or exp now because i'm visiting my family and cant grind simple afk skills now, lol...

I have always been able to log in on the mobile app before the new update, but since it has been updated I cannot log in at all.

The app will load and after clicking on the 'continue with runescape account' button, it will take me to the login page.

I type in my email and password. It then asks for the authentication code, so I put that in. But after that, it just loads up the first page again with the 'continue with runescape account' or 'Google account' buttons again. So the process starts all over again. I have tried this many times but still will not log in.

Iv even tried uninstalling the app and re-installing it again but it still does the same thing. I'm not sure if others are having the same problems as me but its disappointing not being able to play the game on my phone.
