This issue has been going on for months now and i've been reporting this issue for quite sometime now (probably a couple of months now) through the in-game bug reporting feature and yet no comments or acknowledgement has been done with this.
I'm currently in south korea, so i'm pretty sure it's not the internet's problem here cuz we are mostly using 5G or high speed wifi, but west coast servers would seldom suddenly lag, latency would go from a stable ~140 ping to 300+ping and would last a minute or 2. I've tried other servers as well but they are consistently lagging.
I've got friends from discord who are from asian countries and they are also complaining about the latency issues.
I understood that it is expensive to create/maintain servers overseas but now your customers have increased with the advent of mobile and steam releases so upgrading/expanding your servers would accommodate the increase and support runescapers in the eastern side of the world.
