Turning off chat autohide

Is there a way to turn off the chat box autohiding? I know I can expand the chat window, but I prefer it to be in the "reduce" setting; however, in the reduce setting, it autohides with inactivity.

I like for the chat to always be up, but not taking up a quarter of the screen.

I looked in settings and didn't see anything, but maybe I'm missing it.

I'm on a Samsung S10E, if that matters.

in a word NO, another useless tweak that improves by ruining what worked ok before! I know what I want to do, but can rarely achieve it

Yes please at least bring in an option to make the chat screen permanently visible like before, and those that like the new feature( of who I have yet to hear actually likes this) can enable and use this while those that don't can use the old/better/not***************************.why.did.anyone.even.believe.this.was.nended.seriously settings.

I find myself constantly clicking to view the chat since I use the minimized version as I'm sure most others do too to minimize the amount of stuff on screen. So bothersome tbh.
