After spending a few days playing the new release of RS3 mobile, I wanted to take the time to extend a big congratulations and thank you to the runescape mobile dev team – I’m frankly impressed how well this complex game is able to run on these devices. The ability to navigate the complexities of a computer-based MMORPG through a touch-interface is certainly no easy feat, and I believe that the RS mobile dev team has done an excellent job making navigation and play of the mobile version seamless and very naturally intuitive.
While it is true that there are some aspects which still need to be readdressed, my personal biggest right now are various lighting in some of the visually darker locations in the game and being able to effectively implement full EOC combat control (which, due to its complexity, may not even be feasible with respect to this medium), I believe this mobile version is nothing short of stellar.
With all of the negative feedback I’ve seen on the forums (as negative feedback is always the type most commonly received) I want to make sure the devs know that they are doing an incredible job. Keep up the great work.
