When attempting to report a crash to desktop using the flag on PC OR the similar route in the mobile app, the user is directed to the support page.

At this point, the user is told to go through what is basically a guide on how to use the flag (PC) to report the bug.

At no point does it seem possible to report a crash in either client as an issue.

Effectively, the process as it stands seems to be:
1. Have a bug.
2. Go to report the bug.
3. Read the guide on how to report the bug.
4. Use the links in the guide to report the bug.
5. The links take you back to support.
6. Read the support guide again to report the bugs.
7. Repeat until you accept that you can't report this issue you have a 100% reproduction for.

EDIT: The following is a side note and ABSOLUTELY not what I was trying to report in this thread: The issue that sparked this has now been reported as a general gameplay bug. Don't try to open map clues in the mobile client. You get a crash.

Assuming it's normal Runescape and not old Runescape.. when you 'report' something, choose a bug - not a technical issue. Technical issues will redirect you to the support pages/website, bug reporting gives you a textbox you can put the details in.

If you can reliably reproduce a CTD through an ingame action, that's probably a bug. Though, see if it happens to another player. If it just happens to you, or you can't reliably reproduce it, then it's probably not a bug, but a technical issue.

Just because your client craps out in some cases, doesn't mean it's a bug. Very possibly on your side.

For mobile, there're also dedicated mobile boards on the forums. I assume Jagex review those for things like this - you may want to poat there too.

I was able to reproduce the issue multiple times, without fail. Which leads me to believe it was not a random crash. When I created the bug report, I did list my reproduction steps, and the device I am using, which should help them rule out anything like it being a fault on my end.

That being said, under the description for the option to report technical issues, it reads "Issues can include client crashes, game unable to launch, issues which don't occur on another computer and similar issues". This description says that crashes should be logged through the support site.

The purpose of this forum post was not to highlight the bug I was experiencing in the RuneScape mobile client (RS3). I was just pointing out something I have seen others have issue with in the forums, that I was experiencing, too. The option that is listed as the point of contact for crashes doesn't seem to give the ability to report a crash. Combined with the crash itself, this is highly frustrating.

Edited the original comment to better clarify my issue being with the support system and not the crash when trying open the Rellekka map clue scroll in the mobile application.
